Son, I deleted my main and I was able to reroll him.
I didn t lose my jedi slot. (I m a pre unlocker)
Can I still reroll my main or not?
Edit: I think you re mistaken or the code change again.
I m a pre patch 9 unlocker and I deleted my main because I wanted to reroll an ithorian at JTL time.
But I still not have JTL, so I created a bull char just to try.
Can I still reroll or not? Is it a change with patch 11?
I don't believe there's been a code change, but it's been stated that deleting your main (as a pre-pub 9 unlocker) could lead to your Jedi slot being deleted as well. While you may not lose your Jedi immediately, there's a chance you could in the future since you've technically "lost" thecharacter that earned the FSCS
There is no chance I "lose" my Jedi because it needs a delete from the DB and no delete of char in a DB action are taken except on a 6 month inactive account
. CSR's have been stating this since publish 9 and I don't think there's anything they could do to help you if this happened.
The CSR I discussed with stated that that technically my main is my Jedi now, there is no more things as pre unlocker main. When you try to create a new char on a server, the operation is successfull if the check of Padawan status in your existing char isYES and you do not have 2 char on any server.
However, there is a possiblity that this is no longer true though. The logic did change in publish 10 so perhapsthe second slot is just tied tothe character thatis a Jedi, it seems to be a gray area forpre-publish 9 Jedi.Regardless, it's a gamble that many probably won't want to take, that's why I stated it like I did...
Did you made your statement first on logic or on a note that was send from a dev ?
Your statement is logic, this is also what I thought until I run into Dopei who deleted his main and COULD NOT reroll it. It has been fixed.
I will ask the devs about this to try to get a clearer answer to bring to everyone. For the time being I wouldn't recommend the risk...
Fair enough but I m not alone to have deleted my main and several post have stated everything went fine.
Why they changed this and did not change it so we can wear cloaks and cloaks (hood-up) over our robes is beyond me...

Wookiee Jedi can no longer wear thier gloves with the Robe. Seems to only be Wookiee who lost these.
Itsounds likethey've been changed to long gloves types (the kind that can't normally be worn with jackets). Since this is a race-specific issue it probably belongs more in the Core Systems forum...

With respect, this is directly a jedi issue. The wookie have the fewest items that can be BE'ed and have the fewest Pieces of clothes with which to fill out the rest of our character whole wearing the robe. Wookiees could only wear gloves and hoods before. Now it is just hoods. Inadvertently they just nerfed half of our slots that we can wear while using our prescribed Jedi Robes.
I also don't feel it is a non-jedi issue as I don't think there are any other items of clothes for Wookiees that can mimic the 'usage' of space like this. Meaning whatever slot this is using, is not a slot that any other article of wookiee clothing really uses. Some new conflict between the two has arisen.

I react on this because I have also deleted my main after patch 10 and everything wen t fine.
Tiggs SPECIFICALLY posted twice to NOT delete your jedi or main account attached to Jedi around Pub 10. I'm glad it worked for you, but I've also read posts where someone deleted their jedi and lost it.
A clarification is definitely needed from the Devs, but this is such a serious problem (losing your jedi slot, or jedi player!) that I would venture playing it safe is a wise course of action.
It's a simple SQL update to delete relationships with the main account, which could easily be the 2nd slot.
About robe resists: This has already been brought up a number of times to the devs. It's not a new issue to Pub 11. It will also be focused on in the combat 'upgrade'. Jedi seem to be in a odd shape right now where we are 'balanced' and others are not- how armor is handled alone is supposed to change dramatically. However, I still think if the upgrade is a while away, we should get some 'temporary' modifiers into the robes that are competitive to composite. This one shot killing from NPC mobs is getting ridiculous, especially against high level jedi.

Basically, what it sounds like the code was CHANGED to is, you MUST have a PADAWAN on ONE char to have 2 slots open. IF you -delete- your PRE-9 MAIN, you are NOT deleting your Jedi, you are deleting your "second slot" in the "new" system. Deleting your JEDI is totally different.. the supposition seems to be that IF you delete your JEDI (which would be silly unless you have gained virtually NO xp), you will LOSE the ability to have a SECOND CHAR until your EXISTING char becomes Padawan again.
For pre-9 unlockers it becomes this (specutlation! based on info from this thread..). If you delete your main, you can re-roll your main (NON-JEDI char).. If you delete your JEDI, you will ONLY HAVE ONE SLOT (your main). You will NOT be able to "re-roll" your Jedi, it will be gone. Once your "main" is Padawan under the new system, you will be able to have your second slot again.
Basically, you have "Jedi" and "Alt" slots now.. Mains/Jedi/Second slot ideas should be scrapped and "Jedi" and "Alt" should become how you look at it. Then, we have "if you delete your Jedi, you will not have access to that slot until your Alt becomes Padawan, then you will have a Jedi and access to an Alt".. or the likes. You can delete your "ALT" all you like, as long as you have a Jedi char..
Oh, and for the statement of "chars only get deleted from the DB after 6 months of inactivitiy", I'd speculate you are VERY mistaken. Your idea only applies to "inactive accounts".. When you click on the "delete" button, that char and ALL items belonging to that char are deleted from the DB very quickly.. I'd guess immediately.. You can NOT log into that char anymore, and that name is locked up in the name DB for some amount of time... not sure how long, but I think it's 24 hours or so..
Bottom line is, it's risky to delete ANY of your chars now. You can "probably" get away with deleting your non-FS/non-Jedi alt and re-roll it with no issues, but deleting your Jedi leaves you with just your "alt" and one character slot..
