I didn t lose my jedi slot. (I m a pre unlocker)
Can I still reroll my main or not?
Edit: I think you re mistaken or the code change again.
I m a pre patch 9 unlocker and I deleted my main because I wanted to reroll an ithorian at JTL time.
But I still not have JTL, so I created a bull char just to try.
Can I still reroll or not? Is it a change with patch 11?
I don't believe there's been a code change, but it's been stated that deleting your main (as a pre-pub 9 unlocker) could lead to your Jedi slot being deleted as well. While you may not lose your Jedi immediately, there's a chance you could in the future since you've technically "lost" thecharacter that earned the FSCS. CSR's have been stating this since publish 9 and I don't think there's anything they could do to help you if this happened.
However, there is a possiblity that this is no longer true though. The logic did change in publish 10 so perhapsthe second slot is just tied tothe character thatis a Jedi, it seems to be a gray area forpre-publish 9 Jedi.Regardless, it's a gamble that many probably won't want to take, that's why I stated it like I did...
I will ask the devs about this to try to get a clearer answer to bring to everyone. For the time being I wouldn't recommend the risk...
While what you said is pretty scary, I have to tell you that in no way my Jedi will go poof for whatever reason.
A guy had deleted his main right after publish 9 and could not reroll. When publish 10 arrived, it still didn t work.
A CSR put him in contact with a dev and he was then able to reroll the main.
I did reroll my main short after he confirm me that he was rerolling fine.
I then discussed with a CSR which was really nice(CSR_WJohn or something like this )and told me that the second slot is no more tied to an char the way it was before. If you have apadawan statuson a server with your char, you will be able to create another char on the same server. THis is the check.
There is no more such a thing as unlocked slot. This is changed.
The dev will never maintain2 systems, pre unlocker are now like post unlocker. You jedi is the "main" slot.
TH statede that we shall NOT delete our Jedi in any circumstances. What you said about pre unliucker being able to delete the jedi seems very odd to me.
check out my experience here.. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=jedi&message.id=623072
we go on terms for unknow reasons, we go on terms for stupid reasons (see grouped, friendly ppl etc.)
please corrispodnent.. do something about this, it's really annoying for low-level jedi.
Hello everyone,
Just to let you all know, the following issues have been submitted to the devs:
- Wild spawns broken
- Looting broken
- Damage reduction calculation problems and new armor holes
- Visibility not clearing from deathblows by a BH with a mission on a Jedi, again (need to investigate further...)
Knights are loading overt when landing from space, without getting the temporary covert status[Update: Slated to be fixed tomorrow, Nov. 3rd!]
Please remember to report any bugs you discover/encounter in the "Live Issues" threads by Tiggs to bring them to the devs attention.
Also, to address some of the recurring questions:
1) Jedi do not suffer XP loss if they die in Space. They cannot be tracked by BH’s in Space either.
2) This just in: Official word from JustG! You can re-roll your extra character slot as long as you don't delete your Jedi (regardless of when you unlocked).
For example:
Apre-Publish 9 unlocker has a Jedi ontheirunlocked slot. They will be able to delete their main character (primary slot)and re-roll without adversely affecting theirunlocked slot and Jedi character. True
A post-Publish 9 (Publish 10)unlocker has a Jedi on their primary slot. They will be able to delete their character on theunlocked slot and re-roll without adversely affecting their primary slot and Jedi character. True
Or to the extreme: A pre-Publish 9 unlocker has a Jedi on theirunlocked slot, however they've alsomade their main character on the primary slot a Jedi since Publish 10 (Jedi on both slots). They will be able to delete either character and re-roll as long as one of the characters remains a Jedi. True
One more thing, I’m on top of the exploit that allows a player to load a Lightsaber above its capacity limit. Please do not do this, as the penalties could be severe... If you know of anyone doing this please report it to me through a PM (proof would be appreciated as well).
PS. If you bought JtL you may want to read Quadork's friendly warning before enabling it: Warning fellow Jedi who enable JTL

So I guess I have to drop jedi in order to play one of the new races, how nice is that.

When did you reroll your main?
And why cant we reroll our jedi now like before, sounds like pre-unlockers are taking it the rear on this.

- wild spawns are not broken i have no problem finding wild spawns across the planets.
- looting is not broken except maybe in regards to force luck. looted a crystal off a ewok on endor that i gunned down with my T21 yesterday
- been fighting lots of animals just fine with no wierd damage rolls. people reporting these problems appear to be people without defender skills which are the only skills that decrease ranged damage.
- visibility clears fine on BH deathblow. the problem is that BH are hunting Jedi as a group and using Gtef to kill the jedi and letting someone in the group other than the BH with the missionachieve the DB bypassing the visibility clearing portion of Jedi death due to a bounty.
