Thread: calling for nerfing on the 3week expiration of vis MAKE IT A WEEK
For the record I'm a new jedi, hate PvP and would die very easily to a BH...and I'd be for vis only clearing on death, no timer at all or at least a much longer one.
Maybe if faced with the possibility of a BH 2 months after showing off in Eisley, new jedi would chose a little longer of a grind and focus on being more cautious in regards to where they grind and who they grind with. It's easy enough to stay off the terms as it is, all this would really do is bring more hate from the older jedi than we already have...

You choose to become a jedi therfore it is not forced pvp!
You have a choice no one is forcing you todo anything, it is infact you who is the moron.
Basically you want everything handed to you on a plate like so many new jedi, you are a disgrace to every single person before you.
As for the orginal poster, FFS you dont loose xp from pve deaths and now you want vis changed to a 1 week timer ...lol
despite what u have stated it is more beneficial to continue grinding whilst on the terms you can easily make up more xp than you loose.
It is pointless to wait around for 3 weeks or even 1 week if you were to get ur way.

I disagree with you on point one (keep in mind I am a Pre CU Jedi). It seems to me that once you are on the terms that no matter what you do like defend yourself from a BH attack it should not generate more vis.
So say that one day you end up on the terms. 2 days later a BH shows up and you get in a fight. The jedi wins his 3 weeks has just been bumped up another two days. Say you have been a very good jedi since the last BH visit and not shown off...no BH for over a week, BH shows up and you beat him. Your vis is now extended to 4 weeks. Get the picture? So the only way to get off the terms is:
Stay in your house for 3 weeks
Die to a BH
or Log off your Jedi totally for 3 weeks.
I have always felt that if you win against a BH...you should get off the terms. That would be incentive for me enough to stick around and fight a BH...but as it is now I lead them on wild goose chases instead.
Oh, tell me how much of a challange it was when you could wear high stat comp armor and have full Doc buffs. You make me laugh.Challange??? What a fool you are.

I could go with 2 weeks. I always thought 3 weeks was just some random garbage a Dev threw out. From what I am hearing you new Jedi have it made. Complete Jedi in a month? Geeez. I am glad that I completed my grind pre CU. I think the feeling of accomplishment is greater because it was more challenging.
Makes you wonder when Jedi will end up becoming a starter profession...sigh.

LEAVE the visibility period alone. And stop calling for nerfs. This is old. It's pretty easy to stay off the terms. Oh and....there's a stickied thread on Visibility.......right above your thread! Maybe if you'd read that, you'd be in better shape.
