Thread: No wonder the devs dont take jedi seriously!!!

I have serious doubts the average age for players with a Jedi is 27. No doubt there are some emotionally unstable people but I know in my old guild (pre-CURB, they mostly quit after the CURB) most of people grinding their Jedi I'd say was below 15. I think there was 3 or 4 out 20-30 that could be considered an adult.
The devs don't take Jedi as serious because they catch a lot of heat from other professions when they think too much attention is being played to the "alpha class". Every profession has it's share of nerf callers, it just so happens there is a preconception that Jedi is supposed to be stronger in every way to non-Jedi, when people find out that is not true in some cases they come to the boards and scream bloody murder. Other professions do not have to deal with the label they are supposed to be 1.5X as strong. If Devs would come out and say Jedi is a normal class please stop the whining and get on with your life, maybe their would be a lot less nerf calls because then people understand why they can't heal as good ect....

im not calling someone a noob or an immature kid im generalising,the majority of the posters here whole heartedly agree with me,if you dont see thatthen im a loss to explain why,the forums are stuffed full of jedi being mean and rude to each other for no good reason..im sorry but to me it makes jedi as a whole look like a bunch of arrogant obnoxious little kids
you thus far are the only one to take it that way,everyone else seems to be able to see exactly what i mean,that being said i didnt tell anyone to stop doing it,i asked people to be more articulate when they do so,my post although a little close to bone was done in an articulate way,and i didnt have to resort to calling someone a noob a sploiter or ask for their proffesion to be nerfed

its true though,there was a 6 page thread made by meand i like you had serious doubts about the ages of the jedi i thought everyone was gonna be kids but the majority of the posts were from ppl in their 20's..a lot in their 30's and 40's too..obviously there were kids too as young as 14 but with all the ages combined the average age was 27.7

well I guess maybe that makes sense then, it could be the majority of the Jedi that post are average age 27 but the average age of people who play Jedi I'd guess is below 20.I do know even my guildies who were supposedly 12 and 14 said they refuse to go to the fourm because it's always filled with whining lol. Frankly I was shocked and laughed that even a kid can understand how ridiculous some of the crap that comes out of the forums in general.
I'm just going to cling to the hope that it's "kids" posting and not some 27 year old with a Master's Degree pissed off because he can't press a button and have the everyone around him melt into a puddle of pudding.

and no, jedi will never change because they cant get past each ohter. on thing is, i dont really see the bhs in their forum go at each other like jedi do. and this is just pathetic. we really and truly can not see our own self destruction. hell, im waiting for some one to flame this post of mine because they in themselves are just angry. im putting up 10k credits on it...
To the OP, I totally agree with you. Jedi should be working together to improve this profession. Not trying to get each on the receiving end of the nerf stick everytime.
