I hate running through Mos Eisley with my Jedi title up. I swear, it is a macro the noobs turn on with the questions.

But here is the best one I got last night.

I am about to leave Mos Eisley and I get a tell asking me where he can get a Focusing Crystal for his 4th gen lightsaber.

I think they should put the LS certs back into the LS tree and not allow a noob go out and make a 4th gen lightsaber right off the bat. Big mistake.

And you all wonder why this game is losing players? Take a look at most of the replys here. The senior citezens of SWG have turned into a$$hats that make fun of new players rather than assist them.

Howdoes the population fluctuation have anything to do with me and my game play? Do we get paid a cut of the profits SOE makes from recruiting players or the number of players in the game? The population is thier concern as it affects thier bank accounts. Not mine. So if I wanted to be an a$$hat to every single player in the game as long as I stay within the TOS limits, then WHO CARES?

Besides, the day before these guys were asking us how to become a jedi or how to get a lightsaber, they were spamming in front of a starport begging for credits/armor/weapons/scraps of food and old clothes. They bought the game under the pretense they would be able to play some mighty jedi character (see commericals etc) and they found out that is not the case. These guys have it way better than the holo grind some people had to endure and even then, it wasn't really known what unlocked us jedi. Some thoughtthey had to visit every city, POI, and kill 50,342 nunas with a CDEF pistol and only on when it rained at night on Tatooine.

I don't plan on logging in and holding other peoples hands and babying them through a game. Noone did it for me. We all grouped together and worked together. I can start with the "in my day, we had to walk 6k to the crystal cave only to get KS'd by some greedy TKM and so on......" but I won't.

How it riduculing a new player working together. He's asking for help and being made fun by the majority of playersof instead of helped. I laughed too, but only because I've been there, not because I feel I earned my knowledge of gameplay and forget every new player.

This is a Multi-Player game, and it is MHO that more players = better gaming experience and diversity. I hope he was yanking our chains, because he must have done it to show how inconsiderate the Jedi forums can be.

The guy may be insane for all I know. I also know that if my 14 year old niece (who is a SW fan) got this game for her birthday next month and asked the same question, she'd be met with the sameresponse. The people I feel sorry for are the new players that ask questions and get flamed instead of helped. And I feel sorry for the Jedi that try to play with a sense of what it is supposed to be like to be a Jedi but are faced with hate from the general community because of the attitude of other players.

In game RP an evilJedi, RP a money-grubbing BH, RP the village idiot for all I care, but why come on the forums and make yourself look like an inconsiderate jerk to anyone?

Hey, I apologize in the name of all jedi. The correct answer would have been: please read the stickies on the FS forums (some people actually said that). But still, I laught on posts like this. When a brand new player's first question is 'How do I become a jedi?'. But... well if I think about it it's quite logical, there are so many jedi in the game, people could actually think it's just a normal profession...
