Here's what you do:
1) Buy a ticket to dathomir science outpost.
2) Activate the POI in the datapad called "nightsister stronghold"
3) Once you get there, go find the Nightsister Elder and ask her if she will give you a lightsabre.
PS She usually says no.

Pre-CU I had a friend that did the horrible grind to get novice lightsaber, killling little creatures on Dantooine for crap exp, back then it took about a day to get but seemed like forever. Nevertheless, he was soooooo excited when he got it, went to his trainer, and learned the wrong skill.... . He was sooo mad he had to grind novice saber again, but hey, at least this time he had animal scare...
