There's absolutely no need for a majority of things the Devs have implemented from the beginning, and that goes double for the CU.

This game was supposed to be balanced after the CU, but it's really just the same old crap.

Combat Medics are overpowered, Jedi are underpowered, and to top it all off, the Entertainer and Crafter professions are just a joke now.

I can't believe that two years after launch, this game is actually less fun, than it was it when it came out.

Sad.

And balanced?

Oh yeah, every profession has a unique weapon that does basically the same amount of damage, relative to speed, and every profession has unique special attacks, that do the same thing, (root, snare, KD, power hit, etc.), as every other profession.

That's right, every player is basically identical to each other at level 80, with just a different wrapper on the outside.

That's the Devs idea of balance?

Pathetic.

Funny, someone says this every publish yet no one quits.

Hate to break it to you, but the CU was not a publish, but a completely new game, that rendered many veteran's accounts, and almost two years worth of work, and items, completely useless.

As far as I'm concerned, it's not even the same game, and should have been released as a sompletley new product.

I can't think of any other company that has sold people one product (a hat), and managed to get away with delivering something else entirely (some shoes).

But then again, SOE has always been able to drag the players around, becuase they love Star Wars.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

We are talking about the same movies, right? The movies which clearly stated that there are _NO_ Jedi at the current time?
Go play KOTOR, JA or whatever glowstick crybaby game with godmode there is.

Neither are canon, not at all.

The only canon are the movies and maybe the movie-books. Nothing else, even according to G. L..

Anyway, regarding your theory of 95% pursuing Jedi:
I unlocked, accidentially, I might add, just before publish 9 or 10 and only recently unlocked on Farstar but have no intention of pursuing the course of the jedi.
There are quite a few people who don't want to unlock or play a jedi.

I am a Jedi and would like to see BH who are more challenging . CM is powerfulbut not really a challenge. The hardest BH are MBH/MPistol/CM 4000. I didn't lose a single fight against BH (except the one who camewhen i was afk for registering for the beta testing of ToOW) since CU hit and i feel absolutely uber (Über) against BH-Attacks. I wish they would come much more often

It is always funny to fight against a MBH/MPistol/CM 4000 -it takes an hour to makethem flee becausethey arerunning out of mind.

The original poster is a whiner queen. I just wanted to point that out. Also all the whining buddy herd that followed him. At least be original is the whining posts. watching the same people post the same whines isnt even fun anymore. And flaming them is getting repetitive to.... You girls gotta come up with some new material.

You see again you prove my point that this thread is only concerning the jedi's apprarent nerf or balancing and not the overall game post CU. You are still banging on about the jedi and how you worked sooooo hard for you jedi (well so did I). There are so many other things that the CU failed to bring us but still you bang on about 1 profession.

What about doctors nerfs, rangers (finally they got some joy), CH's, crafters (although you did briefly mention them originally), entertainers (mentioned them as well) and smugglers. This thread has progress no further than, "please read the post in its full", "you a child because you don't agree" or feeling sorry for yourselves because the jedi aren't what they were before.

Have to go atm but will be back with my thoughts on the CU and pros and cons later.

What in the heck are you talking about?

I love how i say one thing to you, and you get all defencive and start sterotyping me into this bad guy.

First off I called you a fooktard because your acting like one. My optinion, don't get hellbent on it bud, but the fact of the matter is, if you don't like this game, then leave.

Now, If SOE made the game the way you want it, where jedi "TOTALY LEIK OWN" Then all non- jedi would hate this game, and there for become jedi.

SO, then you would come to the fourms and say " HAY SONE, KICK ABUNCH OF THESE JEDIS OUT SO I CAN HAVE FUN."

The fact is, were never going to be happy, EVER. Were all selfish, and what the game to be out us, (in include myself in this obviously). But SOE can't make jedi increadibly overpowerd, or EVERYONE, would be a jedi.

This is it, in a nutsell. And that's why SWG is doomed. You can't have an alpha class in a MMPOG without everyone wanting it and without everyone who can't or won't get it whining about it.

The devs should have limited Jedi, but if they did, then no new suckers would pay to play. The new suckers want a Jedi. Gotta give 'em hope.

But if you can't limit Jedi, then, heck leta lot of folksget one.

But if you leta lot of folksget one, then heck, you can't let 'em be more powerful or the folks that can't or won't get Jedi will quit and that's money lost, too.

The problem has no solution now that Jedi are not rare. And that was all SOE's fault.
