buku, good and valid reasoning, but we are thinking on two differnet lines of thought. My reasoning is the intentional removing of jedi, yours is the technical aspect of why...either way, they both can be used against us to cut the already to low power of the sabers which now, we have to use to survive.

The other thread was deleted and I am happy for that but I will reiterate. I am very tired of you trying to draw attention to yourself by these "I told you so" prediction threads. It is not difficult to predict the obvious and no one knows for sure what the devs are going to do. Try staying in the present and being constructive please...

this post is kind of...dumb.
its not pre-cu pearls that are out of whack....saber experimentation was completely different pre-cu, allowing for faster sabers
granted, lack of prem. and flawless drops affects things, but the tuning process itself has nothing to do with it

this posting is a warning of things to come. you are right about the way a saber was made, had more experimentation lines to use, and i miss that...but the pearls will be a 1 in a 1000 drop on kryats that that take 6 jedi to kill, or one ranged proffesion....so when soe drops the value of the pearls you have currently youare royaly screwed. that means you have to kill up to 5000 krayts just to have the chance of getting 4 premi pearls, and how are you going to share those pearls with the guys that helped you? the pearls you currently have, will be no better than whats being tuned now. You are not getting it, its a numbers game...you have to get alot of pearls to tune alot of pearls to get one good pearl tune.

Tiggs specifically explained her post. Stating that the existing pearls would not be changed.
Interim meant between now and when they come back. When they come back there is no balance issue and nothing to worry about.
This is a post just to stir up fear.
They will not change pearls we already have. Someday in the long future the entire pearl system / ls organization might change again like it did at CU, but that is not scheduled or even thought about.

honestly I hope u are right, it effects me also. But logic dictates that it will happen in some form. Reason why you might ask? FRS cannot be implimented without a saber balance first. If you think the outrage now about bh/mcm/doc/sl are bad, wait till you are perma overt to other jedi. All it will lead to is a different type of frs points farming where pre cu pearled jedi hang out in the space ports where you come into the cities and just load kill opposing faction jedi. The FRS will be an instant failure with no pearl balance. Putting 1 out of a 1000 drop pearls isnt balance, it just means that you that perma overt jedi hang out at the krayt feilds on tatooine waiting on opposing jedi to come and try to get a good pearl. Logic again dictates that the pre cu sabers will be nerfed to post cu levels, which I am completely opposed to. Raise the the post cu sabers. This whole post isnt to scare anyone, its to point out that logic dictates that a balance has to be implimented before the frs can go live.

Honestly where do you come up with this sh!t? SOE's war to remove jedi? lol give me a break. All their doing is making sure the ever increasing jedi population doesn't unbalance the rest of the game, what you love to call "nerfing"

The only imbalance is that premium and flawless pearls do not currently drop. Once they drop again then the balance will be restored.
No one was promised a perfect saber before the FRS was implemented the last time, what makes you think it would be any diferent this time. New Jedi that did not have premium pearls pre CU were not kept out of the FRS just because they didn't have the best saber.
The Jedi that wish to improve their sabers will have the opportunity to acquire the needed components if they so desire, but whether they go out and do it or not is another matter. Common sense says that they are not going to hold up the FRS to wait for every Jedi to have the same saber.
