UM actually they NEVER GO back on anything the say, when its a good or bad thing, they never go back, besides once or twice when they know they really fkd up, (Exp and action cost for healing)

it was stated already pre cu pearls ,lightsabers are fine and will not be touched at all.

i must of missed the last bit then, but she didnt say tuned, she just said old premium pearls , didnt say anything about already tuned pearls

Premium Pearls Currently, Premium Pearls do not drop. We will bring them back into the game once we figure out a favorable implementation of these special items; there is not specific ETA for this change and all players that have the old Premium Pearls will get to keep them in the interim.

Content that they have to pay people to develope and write. They dont want us here anymore, its evident through unneccesary nerfs that are soley designed to run you off the cliff and out of their hair. In short fellow jedi, we are like thattroulblesome aunt thats a 100 years old, they want us to pass on to the other side so we wont burden them anymore.

to add an edit...for the person who talked about pearl drops, yeah, they will come back but the rarity of them will be rediculous. they are doing nothing but setting this game for jedi up for the next wave of village grinders. we are nothing to them but well educated game players who demand, and actually deserve more. They will only take this game so far and we are looking at the dead end street sign now.

You guys he is right. The current pearls are "interim", as they put it cuz i read the same article. You do know what that means right?

i can just see SOE removing their largest in-game player base. yeah it makes total sense. "lets remove all the jedi, and their alts, so there is basically noone left to play the game"

I wouldn't be surprised if pearls/crystals got the shaft soon. Since they are making Krayt's almost impossible and lowering NPC's CL, you can expect the drop rate on anything decent to drop.

On the other hand, if they do that, I would expect you would see higher damage output attained through the saber crafting itself. Pearls/Crystals might become the equivalent of short-term power-ups after that.

This is nothing I've seen any data about whatsoever, so I don't want to start any rumors. It's just a wild guess, people.

tiger I see the logic in your post but you are not taking into effect that soe doesnt care about the largest player base because we will cost them more in the long run than we are worth...For end game jedi to remain in the game means that we will demand more content to be added to a game. You know, you can put a 427 semi hemi in a volkswagen, but the vw is only going to go so fast reguardless of the engine. To add more content means you have to keep a large staff of programmers, developers, and producers and you have to pay them. The cu should have taught you one thing, money talks in mmorpg worlds. I hope you see the business decisions why this is happening. To be honest, it would mean alot more if this was comming from a soe employee instead of a fellow frustrated vetern jedi. But since soe hasnt the guts to actually stand up and tell us we will have to do it for them.

Go ahead and call me a troll or a rumor starter, but if you read my posts regularly you will see that most of the nerfs, including the stealth regular weapons nerf, I predicted over a month ago. This post isnt to anger anyone, it effects me tremendously, but if we start now to be aware of where soe is going not with the game, but with us, we might have some defenses to argue.

Based on what Tiggs said, and the way she said it I do believe that premiums will be back, and that our old components will change.

The question is whether or not they feel that Saber damage values need to be reduced. Personally I don't see the need for the damage values to be reduced as a perfect Jedi weapon has and always be much harder to obtain than any other weapon.

The reason I think they will change is because we have SAC as a value on all pearls, but they all currently read 0. When Premiums are reimplemented I believe that they will also be activating the SAC values on them.

The question is how they will do that. Will the addition of the SAC modifier require a mandatory retuning of all existing saber components, or will all currently tuned components be assigned a set SAC value like they did with our converted sabers?

Unlike the weapon/powers nerf that I got busted by Blixtev for posting, this change will likely be client side and not be in the TRE files to give us any advance warning. My suggestion for the last eight weeks or so has been to hold on to all of your saber components just in case a retune is mandated.
