Xp is now hard ill admit. I left after 2 months of CU b/c of rl probs but came back a month ago. I missed the soloing a bit and my temp was outdated and un useful to me now. But back onthe topic we need to be able to solo. The reason all these newbs are ttrying to get jedi as soon as they start is b/c they feel like thats the only chance they could have at getting good enough to solo. On the point about groups it sucks when i get a good group together and one guy decides to eat dinner, another decides he is gonna go off and do his own thing (i understand village xp tranfers but ive seen peeps join my group and go do the warren while we are doing mishs) and then when peeps join we get out to the first mission and they leave. Please Devs if you want people to stay and enjoy the game give us back a small portion of soloing.

no one in your group gives visibility .... its not your friend who dont want to see you .. its not fellow jedi who dont want to see you .. its the strangers/bh who dont want to see you ...
personally even though krayts were kicking mah butt yesterday ...I LOVED IT!!! i really got to try hard now to defeat em .. opens a whole new door to me in PVE .. tryingharder to survive against em ...i think its going to be fun as heck.. i have to say im all for the harder mobs

It's pointless, boring, and unrewarding.

Especially with the same crappy loot drops its just a big waste of time as I see it but thats me.

I created a alt for my jedi and I swear I must have spent like an hour till I found a grp to let me...a cl1 in. I finally just deleted him and made a crafter. This way at least I can grind at my own pace and make some decent money. I was thinking "well I'll make a crafter for the $$$ and have fun by playing my jedi"well I rarely can find a group when I am able to play, after work, school, life. so my poor jedi has stagnated at cl75 for over a month now and I am seriously thinkin of cancelling both my accounts with this new pub.
and that's my 2 cents.

This is not Starwars. This is SWG, which is an MMO. If you want to play solo, get KOTOR 1 and 2.
And MMO = Grouped only in what warped reality?
It means players live and interact with other players in a common world, it doesn't mean you NEED other players to freaking check your harvestors, or grind a profression.
Stupidity I can handle, I just wish there wasn't so much of it...

Right now I log on then try to find a group and end up logging back off because there are no groups. I give this game a year at MOST before it ends.
Correct!! I hate having to wait for a group to grind!!

Sologrinding worked against players who wanted to do stuff together. You simply earned up to x5 more experience alone... grinding in group just had no purpose.

Thus, sologrinding worked against player interaction, it worked against multiplayer, the very essence of what an MMO is about.

I don't understand why they don't get this...
Being able to play alone is part of what was so great about SWG. Even if you were a group player, if none of your friends were on, you could still go do things.
Now it is a mockery... (Jedi LFG, Newb LFG) And yet, if you aren't a high level, chances of you getting in a group are ZIP - NONE - NADDA...
Now when I am on crafting or doing something 'solo' like making a freaking house. I see others sign in, looking for a group or friends, and then not find them, ge POed and sign off.
In the old days, they would of just went ahead and played until their friends showed up, now they are bored sitting around waiting or out in space and have master every pilot profession. (And that is not even soloable anymore)
SOE PAY SOMEONE to go read MMO ideas and concepts, even the pages from the developers that LEFT EQ because they thought SOE sucked at MMOs.
The first thing they tell people is the game has to have group adventures and solo adventures. There has to be a social community and there has to be solo play at all times in all professions.
Making a game GROUP only is sure death for that game - always has been, always will be.
Here go read some of the pages from Vanguard Saga of Heroes, they used to be part of EQ, and now are doing their own project for Microsoft.
All the while, reading our posts, anger and watching SOE fail and knowing exactly WHAT NOT TO DO...
Too bad Lucas don't give the Star Wars MMO name to someone that gives a damn about it.

Let it be a choice like it was in the old system and don't force it on people. The new system forces groups. I would always groups with my guildmates for stuff under the old system, because I was given a choice to group. The CU is just forcing groups on us and not allowing choices. Being force to do something is not fun.
