Thread: A Question posed to certain jedi
Checito wrote:Yes i would say i am idealistic. Considering alot of the jedi that you see becoming jedi today have grinded with jedi and have the luxury of a well established system and the forums. I'd like to think they were ready to understand the reality of the situation, We will come and we will try to kill you.If you fail to best us or escape and avoid for three days you will have to accept the experience loss and the time sink.
Rest assured Brother Checito, should you come for me, there would be no hate. If I cannot best you, nor escape you, then I shall die by you and grant you the honor you deserve.
Whenever I have fought a Bounty Hunter, I have always congratulated them on a good fight regardless who wins, and if possible I willhave a good conversation with them. As a full template Jedi it doesn't matter to me whether I win or lose, it's the taking part that matters. However, on the rare occasion where I have met rude BH's I have still congratulated them, and if they chose to flame then I ignore it and move on.
I believe that there is no point in being rude or arrogant in the game as it doesn't solve anything. Sure it's frustrating to lose your hard earned XP, but being rude won't get it back, and in my experience, the more you flame or send hate tells, the more likely the BH community will hear about it and hunt you more frequently.

Yeah, it was extra fun before mounts and bikes, when you ran 7km just to find a bugged mission... ran back and waited 9min 58sec for the shuttle becoz it just left...

Yes, but you didn't lose XP. Hence the angst. Most BHs that ask this question would not advocate for invest XP loss if they dropped a mission or were killed by their mark. In PvP and BH Vs. Jedi I have always tried to be honorable and as as I think a Jedi would.
There was a time when there was a BH exploit in use where a BH could triple their mark, and if rezzed, still had TEF. I rode out on my doctor alt to rez a fellow Jedi, I got there in time to see the BH deathblow the Jedi (another Doc alt arrived before I did). I was pissed and started giving the guy 5h!t. As it turned out after the second incap the Jedi and BH were negotiating. The jedi refused to payoff and after the incap timer wore off, he was /DB'd. I apologized to the BH and welcomed him to get my mission.
No i didnt lose invest, that would of been a pain yes. And i know you jedi hate to hear this but, If i was told that i could lose invest exp while grinding BH before i started it and i accepted it then it would be different then it just happening.
But if our roles were reversed, i can say 100% positivity i would never flame.

Hehe, unlocked after first phase publish 10. I helped several BHs with bugged missions by dueling and AOE attacks to drag the mark out of the wall. Was hunted by one of them two days later. That didn't stop me from helping though.
