the speed is not an exploit

speed = your modified speed X you special.

so if you modified is .59 (possible with pups and full tapes on a good weapon) and your special was adv critical - speed 1.7... that would be 1.7 x .59 before you can fire your next shot or 1

People will say speed caps at 1 this is not true.... the fastest you can fire another shot caps at 1. So your speed refresh rate is what caps at one... not your actual modified speed.

So on same weapon speed ,a ranged shot would fire 1.0 x .59 or .59 seconds... but it will cap at 1 and have to wait 1 second to fire again.

The spices .. I would say are you sure. some foods give same picture as some spices... so it is possible he was eating some foods you have not seen yet.

if what you said was true, how come with 1.26 mod speed saber, 164 to speed, and with doc buffs, there is still a 5-6 second gap between power attacks?

its becausewhat you explainis the time in which you can fire off a 'differnt' special. each special has its own cooldowns, being able to use the same one over and over every second (as the better specials have a longer cooldown) is the 'cheat' ppl reffer to. and any proff can do it.

Your right on the "back to back" same special... I was refering to being able to do something like ADV.Critical / Torso shot back to back every second.

How the timer works for same shot back to back:

Modified speed X special speed+ modified speedX special speed

So to the sabers and BH's that can do their best special back to back every two seconds ... This is not an exploit if your speed makes your special below one.

Example imp saber head hit... dmg 1.9 timer 1.6 (samefor imp leg shot for BH)

1.6 x .62 (again with full tapes/ FS speed/ pups possible) = .098

This would cap at 1 so you can fire the next shot, if different, in 1 second..

Back to back would be 1.6 X .62 + 1.6 X .62 or 1 + 1 = 2 seconds (again i put pups becuase I donot know how a saber can have a modifed speed at .62)

Doc buffs are added on a difffent part of the equation .. I cannot rember the exact equation for the doc part.. however I do remeber it in the demonator of equation and caps at 1 .. so the best it does is not slow down your attack

1 (for the modified speed above) / 1 (cap for doc buffs and combat speed) = 1

For your 1.26 modifed speed

lets say you do imp saber head

1.6 X 1.26or 2.016+ 1.6 X 1.26 or 2.016 for back to back this means you have to wait 4.032 seconds before you can back to back

So why you wait 5-6 seconds is that 4.032 can seem like that. Add in a 1 second lag from time to time and it explains your 5's and 6's for seconds for back to back

Also this if for head (which is fast time)

dervish time is 1.9

imp power is 1.7

so for power it would be 4.284 seconds and for dervish 4.788 seconds

sorry, i still beg to differ. powerattack always has a 5-6 second cool down. no mod changes that. your mods change how fast the other cooldown cycles. we all know theres 2 cooldowns. one for the special you just executed, and one for when you can execute another special. gaining speed mods, buffs, ect only shorten the cooldown for your 'next' special.

no matter what, w/ or w/o my speed mods, w/ or w/o doc buffs, powerattack ALWAYS has a 5-6 sec cool down on it. what changes is how fast i am able to use a different special AFTER powerattack.

think of this: headhit, bodyhit, leghit: all the same dmg, and speed. if your formula was correct, we wouldnt need to switch between head/leg hit, we could simply spam one. but what happens when you use headhit after headhit?

its about 3-4seconds between. now, switch between headhit/leghit and what happens? oh wow, its like 1.5-2sec inbetweebn hits.

why is this?

because every special has a cooldown that doesnt change. the only thing our mods change, is how fast we can execute a different special, not the chaining of one.
