ok genius, try that in a non jedi group, seee how fast it goes for you. and the jedi arent even gettin 1/5 the exp you are, and their master boxes are at 3.2 million exp. so dont speak on a subject you know nothing about, and stay out of the jedi grind groups, im sure they dont appreciate you calling for another jedi nerf.

if all professions earned exp as fast as us it would solve alot...i remember you would get this high amount of satisfaction from getting master marksman or brawler, or even novice bh back when swg was started now its like...w00t i did it in 2 days !
i remember before cu, i went from novise brawler to master brawler/tkm in 2 days. whats the challenge in that?
but, i must say. i actualy miss the solo group thing. lots of ppl to talk to while you did your own thing. maybe its becouse it was more ppl around then. it want a problem to get a group at 15 or more. now days it can be hard to get a 8 group...
Here is the ugly truth.
The main content in SWG right now is GRINDING.
The Developers just don't have the time or resources to do any of the Professions right, let alone Jedi. All professions should be quest based to master, with items along the way as you get up there much in the same way that JTL is structured.
Quite honestly, the Pre 9 Jedi Profession was much more geared this way, with only two trees. One for Dark and one for light.
These systems could have become Quest based advancement systems and perhaps REALLY EXCITING pathways to Jedi.
All Elite classes should really have them.
When the FRS comes back, hopefully it will done in a way that captures more of a JTL system now that the Devs have learned how such systems can be structured in quests.
But grinding as is HAS to go.

For someone who's handle is "Uniformed", you seem right on top of it to me.
Faster or slower?
Pre Cu I used the solo-groups. Capping 900k tka + 900k 2h +300k combat was doable in 3.5 hours. The long grinding buffs time.
Post Cu I join groups, I cap 1.2m tka + 1.2m pike + 300k comabt +200k swords+ 10k 1h + 200k rifle + 200k carbine + 200k pistol + 900k med (the cap is higher here but I never reach it) in 4-5 hours if the group is good.
Pre Cu it was 160k FS exp, Post Cu its 117k + 30k medic.
Conclusion: it's not that faster or slower, it's almost the same. The con is it's hard to find good players while in the solo groups it was all easy.
But but, scout exp is crazy faster now. If you plan to have ranger0040 you fill 1 sense branch in real no time.
