I'm glad you have become adept at determining his meanings, because even as educated as I am, I am still clueless. Interim is exactly what you said it is. "A Temporary Situation". There are so many other choice words that someone who deals with the public daily would know the public would respond to. He knew what Interim meant when he said it and he knew the response he would get.

They have COMPLETELY removed multiple things in this game many times. Just gone, replaced, move on with the new. If you veterans truly believe that the Devs care one bit about your grind and think thatyou "deserve" better damage pearls then the rest of the community, you have lost your mind.

They took em out for a reason. Once removed, it will be very difficult to reintroduce. By now they have come up with something different. Good or Bad, something is gonna change and your Pearls will be useless.

Im a MP....and I have nothing to gain from this post. I feel I am looking at it objectively. I hope for the quoted poster, that he is right in this one.

That statement from SoE basicly said: "We have no idea how to fix this gamebraking issue, we are working on it, but since we don't know how to fix it yet we have no ETA."

Well since it's been 4 days and (I'm not sure) there's no hidden agenda, can we just assume that the devs themselves don't even know? Personally I have a sneaky suspicion that high quality pearls will be fixed on the 1st of November, if you get my drift.

There will be an uproar but the proportions of it will be much, much less then enormous. The number of players affected by this adjustment (nerf)would berelatively small. In the end even if the players ( pre cu Jedi ) quit it would in fact be like killing two birds with one stone for SoE. Jedi continue to be "balanced" and a number of problematic, uber saber wielding, pre cu Jedi would likely quit in protest.

For SoE a win/win.

Please provide a link to a post by Tiggs where she uses this same phrase. I've reread her post on pearls and that statement isn't in there.

He post is fairly straightforward and even says they don't want to change premiums that are in the game currently.

TH's is more obsucure but that is just the way he types.

Thank you. I stand corrected that it was a prepared reply. Taken context of her first statement it still doesn't seem like an intention to change the stats on current pearls but who knows. I'll worry about it when I actually see some change happen.

The bottom line the use of the word interim in this context clearly indicates a temporary state that will be changed and also remember that they said before that they could not fix the current drops without it being a retroactive change giving people with pre cu pearls uber pearls. They said this is bad we don't want that.....so in essence does this means they have found a favorable means to return them to the game without that happening or that they have decided hey we can dumb these down and rather than give people uber pearls we will create an all new uber pearl and readjust the old ones....hence we can keep our premiums in the interim. Which I take to mean my jedi will be assaulted by the nerf bat again. If this is not the intention of the devs someone please provide a legitimate reason for making the premium crystals go away on the dark masters and elders. Further explain what happened to make krayts stop dropping premiums that they could not get them to drop again. They are quite aware of the fact that this thread exists and Tiggs could come in here anytime and deny that this is what is coming. Do the math; those of us that have been dealing with soe in this game for the last 2 years should be able to easily understand what the devs are really saying here. I would not give 10k for a pearl until the premiums are reintroduced without a nerf attached.
