Several of my perfect tunes converted to 117/117 and the csr's told me to bad so sad. 5 perfect tunes pre cu became 2 120's and 3 117's

The Correspondentsthat have read the post agree with DocSavag's statement from above. We all agree there is no hidden agenda. Im still waiting on a Dev Statement.

Yes I am complaining months and months of work and over 250 million credits invested to get perfect tunes. Your darn right I am complaining. I am red hot PO'ed about it.

I've read the statement. I've also spent the better part of 2.5 years reading statements from TH and I don't think there is any sinister message there. He is a literal guy. People are keying on the word interim becuase it is often used to describe a temporary situation that will change. In this case the change is the return of premium pearls. Nothing else in his statement indicates they are considering lowering damage on the pearls.
You know I usually would agree that the Dev's aren't looking at changing or taking something, but in this case I believe they are.
Over the last 2 months there have been a few interviews that have been linked on the forums from a variety of Dev's in SWG. The one that stands out the most is the one where Jedi are described as a 'problem and they will be addressed in the future'. From there we get a hint that high level (assuming tunable) pearls/crystals will come as quest rewards from Obi-Wan. Next up is Tiggs's posts about pearls that are stickied at the top of the page with another hint that high tuning pearls/crystals will be quest loot. Again Tiggs says we get to keep them in the interim... Now TH's statement.
I'm not trying to put words in the mouths of the Dev's, but from 3 different sources I see that Jedi are going to go through anothermajor revamping in almost every aspect that will extend into the next incantation of the FRS.

It's not hard for me to believe that there could be a pre-cu crystal/pearl nerf. Pre-cu the Geo pistol was relatively expensive and very effective and now all those people who stocked up and spent millions to get their hands on a bunch of these now have an inventory full of guns that rival a bebe gun's effectiveness.
I'm not saying a crystal/pearl nerf is coming but it's not hard for me to believe it might.

This is a direct copy and paste of the Merriam-Webster online dictionary for the adverb use of the word interim. I did not highlight temporary they did. That means the literal description of the statement in question,as this word is being used as an adverb to describe our possesion of premiums, is temporary. Or in laymen terms......You will temporarily be allowed to keep your premiums until we implement a new system for introducing high quality saber damage loot.

The comment TH put in the live chat was a straight copy and paste from Tiggs post in the "Update on premium pearls" post made that had over 1000 replies.
He copied and pasted it in there right at the beginning to avoid those questions.
So anyone stating that they know what TH was thinking when he made it is off base, because it was Tiggs' statement not his.
My thoughts are thatrating may be adjusted for stuff that hasnt been tuned, as well as future loots.
Any attempt to change stats on our already tuned pearls / crystals will result in an uproar of enormous proportions

i believe that may be nearly right on the money there the existing untuned pearls will be adjusted to fit their new scheme so tune em or face the possibillity of loosing them. But remember they said they could not change them without the change being retroactive and creating uber pearls. So this being the case why have they not told us they have found a "favorable implementation" of premium reintroduction that will not be retroactive.

I'm glad you have become adept at determining his meanings, because even as educated as I am, I am still clueless. Interim is exactly what you said it is. "A Temporary Situation". There are so many other choice words that someone who deals with the public daily would know the public would respond to. He knew what Interim meant when he said it and he knew the response he would get.
They have COMPLETELY removed multiple things in this game many times. Just gone, replaced, move on with the new. If you veterans truly believe that the Devs care one bit about your grind and think thatyou "deserve" better damage pearls then the rest of the community, you have lost your mind.
They took em out for a reason. Once removed, it will be very difficult to reintroduce. By now they have come up with something different. Good or Bad, something is gonna change and your Pearls will be useless.
Im a MP....and I have nothing to gain from this post. I feel I am looking at it objectively. I hope for the quoted poster, that he is right in this one.
