The way he used it reguardless of what you think is an explot. and confermed by the CSR's. Thing is your supose to be out of range before you can use it your not supose to be able to turn it on and off at will in front of someone in mid-battle like he did, you guys seem to think i'm asking for a nerff when in really i'm asking that it be fixed to the way it was supose to be. i use to have that move and it didn't work like that. I"m sure it will be only a matter of time before it gets fixed to the way it's supsoe to be.
You can use it in the middle of a fight, provided you are at least 20m away from anything.
If he cloaked under that limit your expierienceing LAG not an exploit you RETARD.

I duled a master powers master Enh in a duel. It was a very friendy duel, however this is what I noticed during the duel.
We both started out fighting pretty eveny but as the fight went on I started to gain the upper hand, and to my shock, this jedi used cloke right in front of my face and basicy took himself out of the duel re-gained his health, action and mind pool then picked up where the fight left off and did beat me.
Today I went into a chat room and asked 2 CSR's if clokeing during battle is an explot, and they plainy said twice at 2 differient times during the chat session that cloking while in combat is a explot of the game. This guy in chat who i'm guessing has cloke started to havey flame me, calling my defender skills gay and cheap. I guess the point i'm making is this, he was saying my AI in defender is compared to cloking or status is compared to cloking while in mid-combat. but fact is cloke was never ment to be used in the way it's being used right now so basicy what I was tring to find out is if it's ment to be like that, and both CSR's said no it's an explot. seems to me jedi are getting pist off becuase they want to keep this explot but in really it was never ment to be the way it is now.
I'm not asking for any jedi to be nerfed but I thought the way this jedi beat me was very cheap and exploted his move becuase I had cloke at one time and it never worked like it's working right now. You try to find out info on something and report something to a CSR and you get flamed for it I don't know what's wrong with people. And if he thinks defender is so powerful then maybe he should spend his points getting it. Some people feel they dont' want defender and there skills should be as powerful as someone else's who did spend skill points. So I don't know what to think any more, some food for thought is all....
With the up-coming Jedi Ranking System there's a lot of rumor floating out there, one thing is for sure what's in store for jedi prof is very shaky atm.

yes we both were grouped to advid vis but it was a duel? so he shoudln' tof been able to do it. I do understand the 20 m thing but he was more like 5 m in front of me now if it's because we were grouped then that may be the dfferience and to the guy that called me a retard kiss my rear end if you can find a latter high enough, you want to turn this debate yes that's whwat this is a debate into something else that's your problem.

Jedi shouldnt be allowed to attack me in a duel
At first I thought this guy was a whining moron who is basically saying "I lost and the reason I lost cant be that I suck and it must be an exploit"
However, the more he opens his mouth, the more I am amazed how much he is shoving his foot in it. Doesnt he realise you can cloak and coverup next to group members? So he duels a groupie than is shocked when he cloaks at 5m. If you want to duel and have it so they have to be 20m away to cloak - dont group first!
Its hard to find wisdom to offer to people this stupid, but this is my best shot:

Lesson learned: Not every CSR has a clue of the game. Be happy you werent told to update your graphics drivers.
If a Jedi gets away 20m from all players, NPCs and objects cloaking is a legal move. If he did it right on top of you, you might have experienced lag.
