Great post Jacella. This might change the overall tone of the Jedi forums, it migh not. No one can say you didnt try though. A for effort.

I come here just for the whining, im a TKM fencer xxx4 sm xx34 doc 4xx4 and all those professions boards put me to sleep nuttin like a good ole jedi whine/flame fest to get the blood pressure to rise....if i want well thought post I go to the ranger forum...if i want we been hung out to dry post i go to smugglar forum...if i want a funny story i head to bh forum..if I want a good whine/flame fest I come here keep up the good work /salute

You can say the same statements in a positive and constructive light as you can in a flame. One will be recieved with an open mind, the other will get ignored or misinterpreted.

Agreed...
I beleive that this game is this best thing on the market hands down. I have no cause for complaint anymore. I have found all the recent changes to be quite...refreshing. I am enjoying the game now more than ever. I have been in the game a year now and I hope to be here many more.
Thats my positive post of the day.

I wish. I lost the belief that this community has majority ofsensible people that would understand this post though. Passes by them :/

- Back up my ideas with real facts
- Look at the polulation as a whole and see how my idea would affect them
- Keep in mind that people have feelings
- Try not to offer a solution that nerfs someone, instead something that adds to most
- Try to not slam someones ideas, unless I can respond respectfully
I think if we all do this, our boards will be a much more enjoyable place.
What do you think?

gee, this is pot calling kettle black situation isnt it? you are the worst about flaming or just putting in a smart a$$ comment when its not needed at all. You shoot down any opinion that doesnt agree with you and complain when people correct you. If you post, at least post what you beleive in, just not what gives you a quick opportunity to flame in. You have even commented that you could care less who reads these forums. Did someone find religion today? You even seek out individuals posts and flame them. You have never put a positive post on any post i have ever seen from you.

I just flame you because 99% of your posts are rediculous and beg to be flamed. I have tried constructive posts with you, only to have you respond with more idiotic nonsense. Also, if you read my post above, I stated that I needed to follow this better. The main problem I have seen in your posts is that I don't see any attempt to learn your template better and grow as a jedi player. Most of the posts I have sen by you talk about nerfing this or that profession because you are dissatisfied with your jedi. Wouldn't it be nice if you posted some success stories instead? Ask about what tactics are successful and how others deal with the challenges of our profession. Not just how X,Y or Z profession needs to be nerfed.

I understand you "calls them as you sees them" but when you make a thread giving such a lecture to us on posting "positive and constructive posts" in order to change the way we are viewed, and then turn right around and post snide insults as that above in the same thread, it doesn't do anything but degrage your initial post into jibberish, and paint you as a hypocryte. That's as constructive as I can put that.

I'm sorry if I offended you, but I wasn't directing the "bump for the new whiners" at anyone in particular. If you feel that it was directed at you, then I suggest that you read the OP and see if it applies. It is my hope that we get to a point where "bump for the new whiners" doesn't apply to anyone.

I am not offended, just calling them as I them....
andI'm trying to inform you that it is almost impossible to take stock in your initial post lecturing about posting "postive and constructive" when you later post "bumping for the new whiners" whichis anything but "positive and constructive"....
I understand you wanted to take the initiative to lecture us on how we should post, but have you ever heard the phrase "leadership by example?".... your own "bumping for the new whiners" remark went totally against what you were lecturing about, so it in essence destroyed any point you tried to make in that post.
