It takes 15,2 mil jedi xp to master one profession and it is basically equal to 76million normal profession xp.

Under any sircumstances jedi should not be killed so easily by anyone. We should be like 5 times stronger not 1,5 as we are supoosed to be atm.

Just give us back ls damage and BOOM!! problems solved.

Right then, "picking apart a post" time....please don't take this the wrong way, just my opinions

Firstly, I still don't understand in what way grinding lots of XP could ever be considered a difficult task? Many of the statements about jedi and how tough they should be, setm from the misconception that grinding lots of XP is a difficult task. It's not. I know many non jedi who have worked their way through every single profession, and have over 125 badges. I'd say they have played the game more than any other player, yet they are not "5 times stronger.....". Just because you decided to kill voritors on dantooine for 5 months or more does not mean that you should be any stronger than other players.

Secondly, I'd like you to imagine a game in which more than one third of the players were 5 times as powerful as the other 2 thirds. Already on farstar, the groups at anchorhead ready for PVP consist of 8 jedi and 2 "normal" professions. There are too many people wanting to go for jedi as we are, are you saying you want even more jedi in the game by saying "here you go, jedi can now take on 5 players" ???

The days of "all powerful" jedi are gone, get used to it. There are still powerful jedi out there. My template can beat any MCM that has come for me so far. But find it hard to take on 2, as it should be.

Power. And the more you have, the more drastic the consequences for using it.
Safety is no fun

The jedi of the not too distant past were respected and admired for the risks they took and the cost of PvP ...
not cuz they had an advantage camping spawns

The same went for BH too btw, before NPC drops replaced a BH's duty to face long odds on a PC mission.

closest answer I could give is:

B

simply this reason to me. It would be no fun for me at all if I was so powerfull that it did not take skill, just push of a button to win a fight. Also I have grown to attached to my character to loose him, and I was getting tierd of spending all my time grinding... it left no time to enjoy the game, so skill loss would be out the door for me too.

if it was up to me, and I had a "C" answer... I would say.. nearly the same as it is now. A full template paddy should be slightly stronger then a normal CL 80 (character skill wise, not player) and should have nearly no risk. Advancing in the FRS (if it was active) should give a great boost to power, but have a great risk for that reward.

A, ye prolly A is better, oh did i mention A.

A is the way it is supposed to be atm it is B and why the heck should i choose a profession which

minimum to get is half a year and then another quite long time to get full template. Our xp is 5 times smaller than

the xp of any other profession.

I wanted to make a quick poll here and ask your opinions. If you had a choice for changes in your profession, would you choose:

A) Power. Having your template alone, with little effort, be designed to takeout over 5 finished template regular players at once, but have such consequences as Permadeath or Skill loss upon death be implemented?

B) Safety. No experience loss, and the same grind as anyone else. However, your finished template powerbe equal to any other players.

I feel the biggest problem amongst the jedi population is that they either feel one way or the other, and they fight amongst eachother over it. I wondered what a quick poll would give me.

B - I would NEVER want my main character to be dead. I put WAY too much time into him.

...Posting rants on these forums is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get ya anywhere... write that down.
