Sorry should have been clearer, if he used the probot to attack out of frustration and it happened to come up under the house, possible unintentional exploit. If he did the friend thing, plain old intentional exploit.

she had a pet or a droid out named (winkle). the combat log clearly says so. if she said she does not have one named (winkle) she is lying. she must've left the pet outside of the house or had the pet on follow, but still outside.

ok, let me clear that up.


She does not have a pet named winkle, and no pets were out.... how do I know this? because as stated in the original post, a few other BH's came for her before this one, and if a pet was left out, they would have taken it.


And this is a guild mate I have spend the magority of my in-game time with for the last 18 or so months... because she is my character's in-game wife. So I know full well it was not her pet.

old timer bug, sometimes droids can enter to a private house. use droid scanners in your safehouses then they cant enter (even bombdroids)
but the most important, always log off if you are going to afk

Exploit period. Same with Bombbots, clipping into structures that are private to give a jedi a tef and get booted out of there house for a free afk jedi kill. People complain about the problems with the game. I think some problems with the players taking advantage of the *problems* in the game is whats ruining the fun for many. The only safe place for a jedi right now is when your not logged on. Some people are just that low that they feel making others suffer is the only thing that appeases them. I pity them and dispise them all in one. I thought BHs liked hunting jedi for the pvp. What do you get out of killing someone afk in a private house using an exploit? I guess some people have no respect for others......I doubt that will be answered by an honorable player.

I believe the BH in questtion posted above. Saying the jedi had a pet with that name. Either way, still real lame, and like the post above me says, what happened to wanting the thrill of PvP?


I think it tells alot of said BH when they think a 'forfit' (meaning the Jedi got away?? ) equals a BH win??? HUH? When I don't loose XP, I WIN! Its your job to kill us. Do you think Jabba, or Vader would be pleased if you came back to them and said'OOps, the Jedigot away'? You'd be rancor food fast. Anyway...


I call exploit, seems like the other BHs would have targeted the 'pet'.

but again, we had sitting there, chatting fora few hours. Other BH's had come for her, waited, circled the house...then left...


She has no pet of that name, and no pets were left out. That I am positive of.

If you don't want to log out and want to go afk then go afk on the roof of a PA Hall. Your outside and there is no Line of Sight with all the walls outside the PA hall so even if they could tef you your already outside so what are they gonna do?


Another thing is go afk on a house with a roof. No line of sight and if there is from another house or theres a hill near-by then go prone by the wall closet to the hill.

As a long time Droid Engineer, I am pretty dang certain that Droid Scanners are just for looks they don't actually do anything. I have walked past them before with my Droid out with no problem, so I wouldn't count on that.


If you really must go AFK in a house, ensure you turn off your auto-attack. It's not the getting attacked that TEFS you out, but rather when you try and strike back.
