I've haven't seen this done but I've gone afk inside a structure to use the bathroom 4 times (FOUR STUPID TIMES) and come back dead to a BH...and I had a counter for the bomb droid exploit...it was bogus and I could never get my xp back..musta lost like 3 mil to this junk...anyways I know that it "can" happen but I don't know how its done...exploit

its meant in my post I already had a counter to the bomb droid up..so it wasn't a bomb droid..pretty sure it could have been a probot or another bot or pet that could have gotten me out..either way I'm full temp and I don't lose to BH's anymore..just offering what I know

Aprivate structure is not totally private until you put a "droid detection device" inside near the door.
Its been a loooooong time , but there were ways to get droids inside the houses..Im NOT going to say how, as Im sure there still buggy .
But rest assured the droid detector will keep them out. (at least it has for me and my guild up till this point)
/agree get a droid detector have come back from afk with hate tell from using this

oh and it would never say in the combat log what got me out..but I would be sitting in my house redecorating or crafting new sabers...so it wasn't a rubberband..especially cause when this happened I spent a good 2-3 hours in the dead center of my house and then went afk...came back to a dead toon and lost xp..its really bogus but thems the breaks

it defently sounds like an exploit.
i hope you get an answer soon from a csr and if they or you figure out how he did please post it so we know how they do it and hopefully they will fix it as they did with the insta DB from intimidate

A Probot can be fitted with a detonation module, thus making it a "bomb droid". It would be a more expensive bomb droid since it requires more components to build, but it is certainly possible.
If the Probot was within 32 meters of you when it blew up (I forget the exact range), I could easily see how this could've happened... especially if you were inside a small house and near one of the outside walls.
Probably not an exploit in this case.

If so the counter for that was to stick a bag in the doorway with your exact name. It screwed up the targeting macro.
You can also just name your house with your first name exactly as the first word of your house name. I tested this and it effectively screwed up ability of another to /tar <name> my jedi while in my house.

was not a bomb droid...it never exploded, just basic attacks, so was not a bombdroid.

Exploit, but possibly unintentional depending on house placement. However I do note that he possibly had a friend with a pet named winkle, dueled him, Probot aoe'd through the house (do not know if the probot itself has the AOE or possibly winkle pet), and that dragged your friend outside. I've had people do it to me, which is why when I AFK, it's in the center of the PA Hall basement only, surrounded by crystal packs on the 1st and 2nd floors.
