Everyone always complains about the good old days :S There wern't any good old days? Just you were new to the game and everything seemed soo amazing!
Havn't you ever noticed that every mmorpg has some people on it saying it got ruined and they mis the good old days!
The problem is people get confused with the good old days with the days when they first started!

LoL, i wasent new to the game after a year preCU then whoops, we change to CU wich is crap compared to the former game we played. I had a blast then, i certainly dont now. I can mention a bunch of other players that feel the same.

Also ppl remembering the good old days, preCU whatever, are really helping the likes of you out, cause they hare hoping that someday there will come changes that will make the game interesting and fun to play again.

Who are you to tell that ppl are mistaken about their feeling. Ppl have their own minds

As i remember also last night you made some thread abouy:

preCU was sh** cause Buffs, Soloing, Brandy(i mean what on earth was wrong with brandy?) etc etc, think u made 1 more post there and dident really stand up for your statements.

Not true

I beta this game from phase 2 and still playing it.

Trust me...there was "good old" days. Ive been playing mmorpgs for YEARs. I had also tested SWG for 4 months before it was officially released. There was "good old days"

1. During retail, we still had bugs but for the most part we had people going for every profession.

2.We didnt have 80% of the server Jedi or Grinding to be Jedi. There was only a limited few who REALLY wanted to be Jedi. All the others were having fun hunting out in the plains of Naboo or exploring the planets (the worse things the DEVs did with exploration was to add POIs. I hated it when they did that). It was truly exciting to run across an alien world to come across a sarlacc pit that was NOT on Tatoinne and then getting a badge for it. All you have to do now is hope on the bike and travel to a POI waypoint that's highlighted for you on the map

3. We didnt have special krayt tissues/special hardcore smuggling kits, etc. Things had a nice simplistic approach.

4. Wookies had no armor. It was common sense and common knowledge that if you wanted to play wookie, your armor was non existing. Now we have wookie Jedi complaining because their robes dont work.

5. We actually had a GCW. Theed, Bestine, Anchorhead, and Coronet was constantlybombarded by rebel and imperial attacks. We didnt have none of this PC covert/NPC Overt nonsense.

I could go on and on and on but I hope this got my point across.

Sure, we had our issues in the past, but SWG is in danger of ceasing to exist because this is the first mmorpg I have ever played in the last 10 years that 2/3 of the game population is grinding or already is one specific class. When 2/3 of the game consists of Jedi/Bounty Hunter then we have a problem that cannot be compared to the "good ol days"

Hmm far as i can see, the vet jedi left because there diving antics in cantina's had no use, and there bonus's were taken from them.

Lol what diffrence does it make anyway?

I was playing when half of these weren't even seen, just because i chose to craft instead of mouthing of and flaming ppl, from the start of the server, im seen as a noob.

If that's what a vet player is considered, i would rather be known as a noob

I have one friend who left as a direct result of Jedi getting broken over like a shotgun and then told to suck it up. I have to admit that the kinetic sabre days were better than this.

Yeah, they do. I started playing this game in July 2003. Always had something to do. Loved it until the CU. Publish 24 and ToOW were the final straw.
