Thread: Crystal/Pearl tuning.... /bugs ???

I'm not a jedi, but I was looking for some info on tuning results for my general knowledge. I hunt Nightsisters almost exclusively as a means to generate income. I typically charge less for lesser quality crystals (e.g., fair vs. quality). I was really looking for info justifying this practice. However, the first lesson I take away from this post is that it seems I should be charging the same for all lower level crystals. Therefore, all of my lower level crystals will be selling for 400K - 500K in the future
Regarding premium crystals, I stay away from soloing elders generally just because, as a non-speed capped master swords/master doc, it just takes too long to solo em and it is quite the armor sink. However I have gotten a couple premiums from them. The way I see it, if they make elders unsoloable, this will not reduce the number of crystals out there. In order to reduce the number of crystals, you will have to change the amount of crystals looted in a particular time period. While preventing the soloing of NS will make it harder for an individual to get the crystals, groups can will still be able to get them just as fast by forming a bigger group.
When I go after elders currently, it typically involves the following process:
1) Group with guild members - usually at least a master rifleman, sometimes another swordsman too, etc.
2) Take off in different directions to look for elders
3) Locate elder, tell other group members.
4) Converge on location of elder
5) Kill elder quickly - couple minutes max
The person who found the elder keeps the loot. There are variations on this, of course - if one person has gotten no loot all night, we will spread the wealth. However, generally we all find an elder and get some loot.
With a combat rebalance making elders unsoloable, all this will do is make our group larger. The crystals will still be available at the same rate as before because we will just get the group large enough to take out an elder in about the same time.
I don't think, therefore, that the supply of premiums will change all that much in the future unless the devs intentionally lower the drop rate. But, just remember, if supply DOES go down, the price of a premium will only go up.

I don't mind that the Elders will become harder to kill. It's always more fun to hunt in a big group - than to solo
The drop rate of crystal seems to vary a bit - but usually they drop okay nice..
About the prices on crystals: I still think that quality is more worth than good and so on .... so the diffrent low level crystals should wary in price. Because you do get diffrent tunes!
But with the bug that makes premium tune like poor/good - I won' t buy or tune any crystals in the near future! Not tune at least ...

i tuned a 'quality' crystal to -9 FC and 43 dmg, and also 3 other quality ones to -7 FC

broken stuff everywhere!
And only a few jedi seem to suffer from this bug!
I played a long time without having bad tunes!
Tuned alot of premium and 70-80% of them seemed to give me cool tuned ( = -9 Force Cost and damage: 30-50).
But 2 weeks ago 100% of my premium tuned like crap!
Luckily I have 5 good tuned premium with over 700 condition left.
But I donno what to do - when I need new crystals ....
Off course the CSR won't help me. They never help people 
My biggest problems in this game is the CSR - so sad ..

If you doon't like the system, I suggest you stop paying millions of credits. I like the system, because it keeps the market down, or should.

Nah it's not working. Premium sell for 4-5 mill!
