When a CM/Bh comes for me I struggle a little bit more and if the CM/BH really knows what he is doing when I try and stand toe to toe with him, I usually die. My template at the moment is 0444sabers, Mdefender, 3002Enh, 4000Healer. You probably are all thinking, oh you just dont know how to play your template. But nearly every other Bh that comes for me, he drops within around a minute.

After falling to CM/Bh's in the past I decided to change my tactic a little bit in order to defeat them. When this BH arrived for me yesterday (Ill use Mr. X as his name) I was just going about my business in my Guild's city. Flew up on his bike hopped off, and started firing at me. So I fought him for around 3 minutes standing toe to toe, but I could see this was not going well and my mind was dropping rappidly.... so i root him and run off a little bit. Kneeled to get my mind up a little bit.

Unknown to me at the time, Mr.X hopped on his bike and went off in pursuit of me. As I saw him coming towards me I targeted his bike and boom, no more bike. Mr. X began to do the same thing again and then it came to me.... If he wants me, he is going to have to do it on my terms not his...

So I snare him and run off again, regening my mind, he finally manages to catch up with me so I throw another root on him and run off. (Now I am only running off around my city.... not outside its borders so im not actually that far away from him).

Out comes another bike and he flies up to me.... Boom there goes bike number 2. I did the same tactic for around 30 minutes... I had all the time in the world. Mr.X on the other hand did not, due to how long his buffs where going to last

Mr.X lost around 8 bikes trying to take me out....... I even managed to make him run around my guild hall about 4 times trying to chase me. Let just say most of my guild where laughing on TS.

I know it was evil to do this to him, and during the fight I was getting not overly pleasent tells "Fight me you coward", "your a pathetic Jedi", "Quit freaking running away", "Your afraid arn't you, you know I will beat you" to name just a few...

Now tell me this, Do you see anything wrong with what I did to defeat the BH? The fight lasted for about 25 minutes with me just rooting/snaring and running until his buffs where gone...My guild where laughing on TS at the state of the Bh trying to get me.... and how I was just stalling for time to let his buffs wear off. Im sure he wasn't best pleased that he lost 8 bikes trying to pick up my bounty. But when that much xpcould be lost(Im changing template so it does mean something to me, even though im finished my grind long ago), we should do everything in our power and use tactics in order to win.....

What does the rest of the community think?

He was the idiot you were completely within the realm of normal to do this to him. His first mistake was to try and take you head on riding straight up to you and hoping off instead of storing his speeder. His second mistake was in thinking that you would fight him straight up, there is no requirement at all that we MUST fight any BH. His third mistake was that he kept pulling out more speeders to chase you. And his final mistake was that he continued to chase you, a smart BH would have realized that his current tactic was not working and would have rethought his approach and perhaps tried to sneak up on you at a later time.

Nope you did well, I'm all for making the BH work for his kills.

All fair in that one. He probably kept stopping to check if that was his arse or a hole in the ground.

lol, yes for some reason bh think we should fight on there terms!! For me since I not hunted much lately, I make it a game. Im in the wilds doing whatever and usually cloak so I can be afk for periods of time and relative safety. Well the bh get and there is the usual tells about cowards and such since im cloak (and not even at the keyboard most likely) But when I get back the fun begins!!! I usually will get the bh pretty wriled up adn then posibble a short fight with them. Then get away and cloak change planets wait for bh fight cloak change planets. Most either die or give up at about the 30 min mark.

All his tells were an effort to enrage you into doing something stupid - something that obviously has worked on him in the past.

You did what you had to do, and a BH should expect nothing less because that's what they do.
