d00d i did the samething to a BH we were guildwarringoutside ofKaadara and after we finish i saw a blue dot about 200m. So i got on my bike and drove to ocean north of Kaadara and saw him chasing me and well with only 20% force i couldnt do much. I made him chase me a good 7k - 10k meters. He finally blew my bike and i blew his and i rooted and fr2 away since i was still low on force. He keptcoming back blew his bike again and again.Kept doing it for a good 10 min till i reached a base (i was overt). Sat and channeled a bit he ran in and was covert got all the NPC to aggro him and ran out so i rooted him Armor break and let the NPC do the work and then just db. I got a hate tells and just said i used thing to my advantage.

Cheers guys....

As for the 'Benny Hill' comment. That is pure genious. Im going to get a hold of it and play it down TS the next time a CM/BH comes after me so my guildee's can get a good laugh. The hate tells where amusing.....

Obviously he went for the FOTM Bh template and instantly thought it was a 'I Win' button.... If they want to get their cash and make me lose my xp, well they sure as hell are going to have to work hard to get it from me

What is it that Bounty Hunters and Jedi Haters always say to us?

"You knew the risk when you became a Jedi!"

Well, he chose to play Bounty Hunter, he knew the risks. Good for you. You gain nothing from defeating him so running is not cowardly at all (especially if you are a lightside jedi) and rest assured that if you were trying to be peaceful and leave the fight by driving away, the BH would have no moral issue with destroying your vehicle(s).

The amount of laughter that came from them from TS unreal.

Good for you I say.

If you can't beat him with the current FOTM template (and arguably one of the strongest templates around) then what other option do you have? Roll over and play dead?

In an ideal World Jedi would be 1.5x as powerful as BH, so they would have to use tactics to actually kill you (e.g. the correct foods, the element of surprise, terrain, etc). As things stand a MBH/MCM can just waltz in with little or no fear - especially as BHs have no penalty at all if they fail.

I would've done exactly the same thing - albeit with a bit of choke n' cloak in for good measure

The BH/Jedi fight has only 2 outcomes

Jedi dies = BH win

"anything else" = jedi win

Never be embarassed to run off, kill bikes, cloak. By escaping the BH, you win.

Besides, he was the one that unpacked all the swoops, so you can't be blamed for taking them out first...good tactics in my book, so he can't catch up to you

Yep they stroll up to ya, paralyze, put all the dots on and then the fight begins. Thats what its like every time.

While paralyzed I just eat all my PvP food and drink ready for the rumble.

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, 'How can we do this and not make another EQ?' We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen." - Julio Torres

lol....i love BHs and their /tells. Telling you to stop running is classic... because we all know BHs dont run at all. I think your tactics were perfect. you used the tools you have to live; using that time to regen your mind and health is good idea. You know what i like to do? I throw on a stasis and then meditate in front of them.....that REALLY pis*es them off

One of my alts is a BH. What you did was hilarious. The guy must have been plain stupid.

Most of us realise that you have a total right to run away if necessary. Nothing wrong with that - you have a lot more to lose than the BH.

Classic !
