And THAT is why I hate the Vong. It goes against everything that Star Wars is based on. Outside the force indeed. Nevermind that the Force is the only universal constant.
"Life crates it, makes it grow" The Yussm Vong use biotechnology, esentially ALL living tecnhology, yet somehow, someway is just kinda not affected by the force. Bullsith.
And I'll tell you somthing else, the vast majority of the things that happen in those books are so far removed from Star Wars canon that it makes SWG look like the bible. It's like suddenly the entire galaxy took stupid pills and forgot everething they knew about strategy and improvisation. Kinda like 'Oh noes, I can't force choke it! I may as well just die! Nevermind all the other possible strategic solutions to the problem!' or 'If only we had some supertechnological weaponry available! Hm. All we have are these Lightsabers, proton torpedos, thermal detonators and turbolasers, oh woe is us, we are no match for their mutilatedflesh and theirself inflicted wounds!'
I'll bet any amount of money the author had his own sci-fi story where the Vong were the main antagonist, but he couldn't get it published, so he decided to slap it into a Star Wars book, since traditionally any book with a Star Wars title goes right tothe NewYork times best seller list.

Remember, the Vong are in this timeline. In fact if you stayed true to the books they would outnumber the jedi in this time period...by ALOT. Also, they are part of the force just they exist in a different realm of it. Anakin Solo proved this when he died in Star by Star. His perception of the force changed just as he was dying to include them, hence his ability to take out 30+ of them on his own.

Exactly. But for some strange reason in the books no one uses that to their advantage. You know why? Because then the author would have no story.

Enough of the timeline argument!
1) If we were true to the timeline, there would be no Jedi (technically there would be like 3)
2)In this timeline the Vong outnumber the Jedi, they are just spies
3)SOE are masters of continuity and staying true to the timeline so they know this as well
But I agree, the vong don't belong in the game....On that same note though they have just as much right to be in the game as the jedi, maybe more so. Hell, I don't know what I think. I'm torn between looking for something else to do in the game and the complete and utter incompitence of the coding behind it.I'm really concerned about this game and it's future.
