You can wear what is basically a padawan robe -2 regen +15 health with your CA suit -cloak slot.
That is:
+8 regen +250 force +15
Trousers
Shirt
Boots
belt
hat
gloves
bandoleer/backpack
Compared to the padawan robes:
+10 regen +250 force
belt
hat
gloves
Is no one else happy about this?

I agree, a new look would have been nice, but this is still good. Means no more wearing the ugly padawan robes, who the hell wears them anyway? only jedi in the new movies. I spit on the jedi robes, and embrace the jedi cloaks... Hallaluah SOE!
yeah or you can wear a four slot one from a tailor to fill with wonderful things like jedi ca's that dont work

Yep and where is the issue with them?
Sacrifice 1 clothign slot for an equivalent to our jedi robes. everything else can be packed with be modded 4 socket clothing for your uber jedi suits.
It sure sounds good to me.
Oh, don't get me wrong I like the idea of being able to wear more than my hat, gloves and belt. However, this is best loot in the expansion for Jedi?
I've been starving for Jedi content and unique Jedi items for a year nowbut the devs give me a cracker with extra salt.....for $29.99 lol. It was a nice idea but the fact they are just like any cloak in the game + give you the same stats as a Padywacker robe, to me that is not special. This should be more like a reward item you get when pre-ordering the expansion, not the exciting loot item Blix seems to think it is.
Again, it's nice they are finally allowing Jedi to benefit like every other profession in the game by wearing more than 3 pieces of clothing but I still don't think this should be the ultimate loot drop for Jedi in the expansion. It's not worth it (IMO) unless there are other robes thatcan possibly giveAccuracy/Speed or a secondary damage type skill (like the new loot weapons for non-Jedi *Frost attack* is one I've seen....maybe they can give us Carrot attack with the new lava crystal lol)

No i agree but im not going to throw a paddy (no pun intended) over it, when the 5 new robes were first rumoured from hacked tre files everyone hoped they would be jedi discipline specific ones as a precursor to the new frs.
Sadly we were mistaken.
I cant believe they class the "new" padawan robe as a new item though, that takes the piss. Wish theyd just grant the old FRS robes the ability to be worn at padawan. Cant be a hard change.

Well actually this does give jedi the "look" from the films.
The clothing underneath is up to the player.
At publish 9 everyone wanted hooded cloaks over the paddy robes but they did nothing, they then released hooded cloaks with jtl and there was much rejoicing but you couldnt wear it over the jedi robe.
This is a good compromise.
if the cloak can't be put on over our existing robes and we don't get new styles of robes to choose from...it jsut seems like a waste to me.
Hell my paddy robes have +10 force regen instead of a +8 from these....

I guess I should tell you Blix said these robes are for the advanced player. With my dev translator that meant the only people who will benefit are the ones who are filthy rich with uber clothes lol.
