Do you think there is any chance that a Post Cu Jedi has put in the same amount of grinding XP an when hes done actually know what each skill does?
an yes ive hunted krayts for a LONG LONG time to get a perfect saber..so dont talk plz

btw, pre-cu, tuned 344 pearls/crystals, only 4 of which were premiums, and those tuned to crap. so you have 200+ to go to match my investment in pearls and crystals(btw, only pearls i bought were the prem's and they tuned to 20/20 ish -9 precu)
so, you have a good start, keep at it, everyone who has done the "ive tuned 5 pearls and they all suck" posts need to think about this, average cost of a "perfect" saber is probably 600mil ish at 1.5 mil for a good pearl, 20 for a prem, and 100 for a flawless.
the whole point of this thread is that someonefelt a needto whine about pearls, they suck in general, the tuning process is crap, and the only good thing about them is that they are more common, and adk's prevent loss. thats not a flame, its a comment in general.

you are correct, i misread the topic, but didnt flame you at all, so get over yourself. your 1/2 way to a good saber, shut up and farm, simple.
My POINT was that premiums tended to tune to crap pre cu, so thats not the fix.
the fix is, paitence, keep farming, keep tuning and you will get there.

This is the cop out BS answer that so many Jedi are wont give around here. The three PRe-CU Jedi in my guild all have from 680-721 max damage sabers. I assure you they didnt tune anywehre near 300+ pearls to get there. One of them has two 115 -5s that are considered garbage to him but Most jedi right now would cartwheel down the street for, I tuned over 100 good crystals/pearls (few quality in there) and not one of them was better or even closethan the mere 4 premium crystals that are im my saber right now.
Try this.....Go out pre-cu and kill about 600 canyon, giants and ancients that were a lot harder to kill back then and have 200 or so pearls that were classified as Premium and Flawless and about 99% tuned to approximatly the same as the majority of your good tunes, from 25 to 40 max/min, -3 to -7 FC pre cu so about 50 to 80 dmg, post cu. That was a hell of a lot of work to go through and it in my opinion was much worse back then.
Im not flaming, im trying to make a point and most pre cu jedi will agree, tuning sucked pre cu and it sucks post cu, we just had a longer time period to gather and tune to build a better saber and it will balance out eventually.
Plus i do not believe that the reintroduction of the premium/flawless will make that much more of a difference with the exception of speed bonuses and hopefully SAC reductions.

did you read where the OP said premiumpearls go for 50mil.
This is what all the people with near perfect sabers who are telling post cu jedi that they just need to ge tout there and farm crystals/pearls need to look at.
Pre -cu in the same amount of time or less you could have farmed 100 premiums and youd hace probablt had a near perfect saber less than half way through them. Even at pre-cu rates youd have a damn good saber and 100mil in creds.
5 tunes over 80 is not bad but have seen better 
On the otherhand the ratio is way bad.
That last pearl (99 damage -8 FC) makes all 92 worth it IMO...
