Actually anyone with master scout (not sure about this, I just know being able to run up hills fast lets me kite a lot of stuff....the thing is I can do this on flat ground, so I think you might technically only need the bleed), a good suit of composite, and any of the full marksman weapon lines can solo the force users on dantooine. Kite and bleed and stay farther than 64m away from them at all times (until they stop bleeding). If they're lucky they'll get one shot off before going prone if they ever do get within firing range. The composite "should" block most ofthe damage, and even if it doesn't most of the time if you are running fast enough you slide out to about 70m+ away, and therefore won't get DBed. There are obviously rare failures, but I can do about 20 in a row without dying, sometimes I'll get one a death and have to run back out, but overall, I've killed about 250 force users now using this tactic.

ps - their friends are who you really have to worry about....for some reason NPCs don't seem to go prone unless you're attacking them too, so while you're running from this guy thats already 80m from you his friend at 55m is pelting yo ash. Usually if its too bad I die, but about 50/50 I get both of them at the same time because I just bleed the "new" guy too and then he drops.

the FS NPC's on the surface of Dantooine are fairly rare, the static places are camped. So your chances of getting one are still fairly low.

yes, its possible, its just a bit mysterious. and that's good. id rather it be 6 months more before seeing a jedi, rather the devs say, ''bah here, this is how you do it,'' and then we see thousands.

Bleeding and running is hardly 'fast'. The guy with3 AT-ST getting every kill in the Force Crystal Cave is still only getting 1 holocron every 50-150 kills, thats a long time between holocrons, the guy that is probably killing the most holocron dropping mobs per hour. Running around Dantooine hunting random force NPC's gives you a chance at a holocron, but you'll never get to the point where you have the chances to loot as many as the guy with 3 AT-STs camping the cave. So Holocrons become pointless, and aren't even necessary. If there had been incentive to master many professions (badges), then there would be more people that had that required part out of the way and holocron hints wouldn't have been needed.

Nice that you see my point Ochad. No matter if its crazy or not but these guys who have so much time on their hands were already in the endgame a few weeks ago.

What else is there to do, they probably got those badges which are not bugged, tried a few professions, visited all planets and checked out the points of interest, own a house, maybe are in a PA, did a few missions here a few missions there, 2 or 3 themeparks and thats basically it.

InDiablo II were players whoraced to level 99 in a week, the first level 50 Iksarmonk in Everquest took somewhere near 38 hours Iread.

Lets get down to statistics, a regular guy or galwho goes to school or has a job plays maybe 2-3 hours a day. And thats a lot, many do not play that much. Most of the posters on these forums can already be considered somewhat hardcore, do you have any idea how many people do not bother to post or read the forumsand are clueless aboutwhat is going on. Most people got other hobbies besides playing SWG and dont spend all of their spare time on it. A powergamer can easily achieve goals in 2 months which would take a normal player up to a year.

The current content is enough to keep regular players around for up to a year, but powergamers are already getting restless. Did you notice how the Jedi thread has exploded over the last weeks. The game needs new content to keep the hardcore audience around otherwise we will see an exodus around xmas.

Not possible or someone would have done it by now.

If it is possible, theres so many restrictions that after a year, no one will be jedi, and without jedi, this game lacks anything that makes it feel like star wars.
