Thread: Jedi must be able to since Danger (BH and BH Droids)

And you know you have been off the terminals, by using your player force powers, giving yourself the ability to see the BH terminals when you aren't even one? Impressive. *snicker*

I am on my own forums. If I wasn't, this would be a private board. Lose the ego, nerd . :>

The foce binds organic matter and living things, it is that which allows a jedi to feel around him, just look at the race that could not be felt by the jedi, and therefor their reactions could not be used, and thats why many of them died. But, what they did do was went onto a planet that was 100% plant life, and allowed them to feel depressions in the changes of plant movement.. of course, that only happened because the people of the planet merged the Jedi minds with what was like mother nature on the planet.... so.. jedi shouldnt.. but prehaps once a droid reports back to a BH, the jedi will see the droid on their radar, watching them, and is alerted and can run away.

uh.. hope that makes sense

This would most likley be your warning. I am a Bh, but i also think it would add good content if you actually saw a seeker approaching you. It would add some excitement don't you think? Also on that note...for all of you screaming "according to continuity & realism & (my personal favorite) in RL", who in the star wars universehad a portable radar with them all the time???

Darvin I think your radar idea is both a fair idea and a good one. The only problem I see is Jedi logging out as soon as they see the seeker. Which (as I mentioned earlier) should be considered an exploit.

Jedi can see the future though.

At sometime in the future, publish 7 is going to happen, and BH droids are going to start working as intended.

Unit you dont know what you are talking about. Maybe if you read the bh boards you would see that bh are complaining that the missions are to easy. Why would we want more xp when we are masters, I have been an mbh and now I am grinding for and fs slot and when I come to these boards all I see is the jedi wanting everything to be easier for them. Why are you saying bh want the missions to be easy when you guys are saying you want to know whenyou are being hunted so you can log out.

Actaully continuity wise, Jedi cant feel the the droids approaching since they are not living things.

As long as the droid stays next to you long enough to target it and destroy it, I have no problem with droids being active. Want to find me? Pray I'm not farming your droids.

1 starred for wanting to be able to do what NPCs do all the time. I love the BH idiots.

But NPCs don't destroy their droids...

P.S. The one-star given to this fact, not opinion, shows thematurity level of the average Jedi player. Extremely low.

Well lets pull from the movies on this one...

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan didn't sense the seeker droid that found them at the races on Tattooine....

And Luke didn't know that he was standing on a trap door leading to the Rancor. (I read his lips as he dropped he said "OH S*@#!!!!".)

I think jedi should get defenses... Not omnipotence....

And of course Yoda never saw the future either, nor did Luke really. Especially when Luke left the swamp to go save his friends after seeing them in danger in a vision of sorts. Then looks to Yoda and when Yoda repsonds, Luke leaves. I wonder what this was all about - it was certainly had nothing to do with them sensing danger or seeing brief glimpses of the future.

Next, Luke never really heard Ben say "RUN" when he was in danger either.Moving on - Luke had the whole Jabbas barge thing mapped out pretty darn well, I think maybe he had a clue before going there how things would end up.

Finally, as a Jedi, if you go talk to a trainer and ask them about Mind Invasion it states that a jedi gains the ability to see glimpses of the future. This easily be turned into an ability that simply says "Your Force sense is tingling!!"

Jedi need something, some sort of early warning sense. Make it similar to the Ranger Track, except it only senses Bounty Hunters and anybody with a TEF within 300m of you - this makes it the Jedi's responsibility to use it and protect ourselves.

How about when the BH droid "finds you" You can kill the little flying bugger? Make him send a new one?

just a thought, I know Id love to kill one of those just to annoy the BH whos trying to slaughter me hehehe

"A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never to attack. Unless he needs to slaughter hundreds upon thousands of savage quenkers to learn to chuck his lightsaber like a boomerang. Then go to town with the Force attacking, a Jedi does." -(I cant find it, PM me for credit!)
"SWG? Multiplayer? oh yeah... If I had 1 penny for every time the phrase "solo group" was spoken in 1 single day of SWG I could retire. LOL. We'v got to face that this isent a multiplayer game, its a multiple person interaction simulation single player role playing game... So its a. MPISSPRPG. "-Me

As a jedi you really don't need a sense that someone is looking for you. You should pretty much assume that is always the case. Looking over your shoulder should be part of your routine. Take nothing for granted, trust no one.

Your existance has been deemed illegal. The empire is out to get you. Bounty Hunters are given contracts to hunt you down and eliminate all jedi. A smart jedi is one that does not sit idle. To move is to survive.

That would be the smartest thing to do But jedi will cry and it will never happen!

And Anaken and Oobie-Ben-Doobie...... well they did sense danger... no argument there.... BUT it was to protect someone else not themselves..... so.. so.. THERE
