lets be honest about mpowers here, its the lazt alternative to msaber. it was never meant to be even with msaber. a good msaber with a good saber should pawn mpowers.

saber defs used to be block, 85 saber block at msaber. mpowers never had a block, what would you use, your hand?

I'm totally with you on this one mate. The lightsaber is imho, the 'red-headed stepchild' of all the weapons right now. They're supposed to be elegant in the hands of a jedi, but as of now they're glowing pieces of junk with no real benefit over any other weapon - the damage isnt' even that great unless you happen to be one of those ppl who amassed premium pearls when they still dropped.

I would petition to make them at least as good as the regular prof. weapons - that wouldincludeadding some sort of 'lightsaber defense' to the LS skill tree that would stack with any other defenses a Jedi might have. I've also suggested that LS block be applied to melee as well as ranged attacks. Fat chance that'll happen, but it would make sense.

I believe that Powers should be themore offensive skill set within Jedi - with the highest DPS. The lightsaber was primarily meant to be a defensive weapon, and so the LS skills should have more innate defense than the powers skills, but of course less DPS. I'm not sayingLS dps needs to be nerfed, but powers dps should be improved, and make a LS wielder have more defense than a powers Jedi.
