would like to know who atlucas shot it down, or is it just putting blame on others to take the heat off soe? we only get answers like, they shot it down, they said no, and so on....would love to know the reason they supposedly did that...the devs have never done anything in detail as far as an explanation.

Sorry too much of a conspiracy theory for me. Was made weak because they figured if you can't handle the power and play in the manner they menat you to play with, by doing things like not being seen as much, wearing/equiping your robes/saber in public, dueling in NPC cities, etc. You apparently can't handle the power associated with the profession. Thus...ordinary Jedi.

This guy speaks wisely, we had power and it got abused. So it was taken away from us, whine, cry, stamp your feet, blame the Corrospondent, blame the Devs, blame SoE, blame BHer's hell blame whoever you like. We have ourselves to blame and noone else, it isnt coming back, we are not going back to pre-cu. I reckon you guys either deal with it (like most of us already have) or move on like you keep threatening too.

What I find most distasteful is the complete hypocrisy of the Jedi treatment.

On the one hand, Jedi represent the vast majority of players now, so create a hokey expansion with a bunch of Jedi "stuff" in it. Nothing that fixes or really improves the profession, just gives you "stuff".

On the other, keep the foot on the neck of the Jedi by squeezing the life out of it through horrid change after change.

They must really think we are all remarkably stupid to continue paying for this nonsense, which is why I am going to demonstrate a little intelligence and NOT buy the expansion.

you give the devs to much credit, your trying to say they think about jedi. shame on you

With the revamps for some of the non jedi professions I am starting to have some faith in the dev team. Hopefully with the release of the EP3 dvd, there shouldn't be anymore clearly Lucas Arts marketing inlfuenced content. The game will have to sustain itself on good game play and other things, you know like content and balance, also those of us who have been following the game since before it was released will remember that the devs stated as the number of jedi increase their power will decrease, but the problem is a lot of people want to be the powerful jedi.
