Thread: Silent Nerf Bat on Dots.......

I wouldn't doubt it, there's been plenty mbh/mcm bragging about how they can solo krayts.... /shrug
any ranged class with a snare can solo any melee only creature in the game. doesn't require a cm to do it. take a ranger, a snare and a dcef and you can do it.
The silent "Nerf" as you guys are calling it, was apparently a silent fix to the CM's master box skill. On TC the MCM's have noticed a decrease in thyroid rupture and paralyze, but they have also seen that thier master level skill works (The one that lowers your max hp I forgot the exact name). Alot of rumors about it, but you'd be suprised what a bit of reasearch can do for you. Dont know if this will actually be in the fix or not but either way, knowledge is power.

I am thinking that the way the code got broken for dots is, they were messing with something, a silent nerf, or a silent tweak.
this time the bat broke on contact, so you think that the devs were gunna nerf the CM dots silently and went a little to far?
I cannot think of anything in city maint. to affect dots.
The X files of SWG I would love to see this cabinet.
we as a community could not be so lucky
it is a none fact that someone at soe has a major liking to combat medics as a prof. this prof has managed to remain at or near the top since launch and even after removing them as the premier pvp class before cu they have managed to jump right back on top after the cu. a nerf to this prof would effect about 80% of non jedi toons tho and the one guy at soe that has managed to keep this prof elite would be pissed.

hehe, the Devs have lost control of the code so they just keep deleting some values every patch, then they check the forum a few hours later going "ahh ok, so that section had to do with DoTs somehow, make a note of that"

I think that CM at 4000 is overpowered right now. A 4000 CM shouldn't be able to heal as well as a Master. The Master boxes in this game just don't give enough it seems.
Jedi heals should be 1.5 that of a Cm/Doc heal for same skill sets. So if 4000 CM or doc can heal 1500 the 4000 Jedi should be 1.5 that number.
I dont think so... each SP of Jedi should be 1.5 times more effective than a non-jedi SP.... Healer 4000 costs 28 sp should be the equivalent of 42 SP spent on non-jedi skills CM 4000 is 78 SP... 44 SP will buy you marksman 0000/medic 0400 Wont even get you novice CM ... if you add the 24 SP onto the cost for Jedi it will get you 66SP 64 SP= Novice CM sojedi healer 4000 should be about equal to Novice CM
If you just wanted to compare to doc that would make more sense 63 SP will got you Doc 4000 so healer 4000 should roughly equal doc 4000
and I love the silent nerfs... the are so deadly...Cause then it reveals SOE for what they truly are.
You are also forgetting the 24 FS points that need spending in order to be jedi, so one can argue that those 24 points are equal to novice medic, thus making it 78 to actually get 4000 healer.
So your wrong, sorry
apparently you didnt read my post
So you are illitarte... I mean wrong
Your right, I missed that comment in that mess you call a paragraph. 24 FS skill points, + 28 Skill points to get to 4000 healer is 52. FS skill points still count as does the novice trees count towards healing modifiers so at 52 Skill points X 1.5 I get 78

Shut up n00b I'm a jedi and i think that NOBODY should out heal a Professor of the Medical field
Shut up nub, nobody said anything about a medical proffesor or master anything, the comparison is 4000 doc/cm vs. healerso go away.

I didn't multiply the extra 24 SP because I don t think that those sp should be 1.5 times stronger than non-jedi sp... well because they are non-jedi SP... So I would calculate it as I did 28 SP for Healre 4000 times 1.5 = 42+24= 66SP which is about the same as Doc 4000, doc 4000 is 63 SP

Jedi Heals should be 1.5 that of a Master Doc/Master Combat Medic only if the Jedi is a Master Healer, the dabblers (even the jeedai dabblers) should not be allowed to have heals more effective than a master of the healing profession as was supposed to be fixed, and was addressed "the SOE way".A player of a Jedi toon should not be spending so much time worrying about how overpowered the MBH/MCM profession is simply because the sole purpose of a Jeedai is to be a PvP GOD (1.5x more powerful than other profs) and can handle any profession 1 on 1 in a duel. So if a non-jedi profession gives you a good fight, why complain? I often see posts by Jedi wanting MBH's to hunt them, that is great, but at the same time there are posts by other Jedi saying that MBH's are overpowered and that CM heals should be nerfed. Bah, if your not up to the challenge, go play monopoly.
Is this because the players that want the MBH's to hunt them know how to fight their template effectively and efficiently and love a challenge and appreciate the role of other professions in SWG, while the complainers have spent way too much time afk grinding or maybe purchased their jedi as opposed to working them up from scratch while learning how to fight their toon effectively, and think that all other profs serve no purpose in SWG? All profs need work, bottom line, but the game still ROCKS!
To the Jedi that love to PvP anything, at any time, all the time, and dont whine about taking damage, but deal with it and still kick the opponent around.......you guys rock and I learn from you every time I duel.
To the Jedi that love to complain about the CM dots and MBH's that nearly whipped your rear in a fight, practice, talk to other jedi about how to effectively fight, and for the sake of people that think jedi are cool, dont ruin the professions reputation by whining like my three teenagers did when they were tykes in preschool.
