I do own the station, since it's in one of my houses, not one that I have claimed residence in, can't imagine that'd be the problem. No droid in the equation. I'll log-in and try standing in the station and see if that helps,
I'll worry about the extra 4 pts on my crafting station when i can craft something more than a Gen 1 saber
Thanks for the responses

i was told that (i have no way of backing it up as i am not a jedi yet) you don't get the experiment bonus in LS until you get at least xxx1 regardless of the +10

Wrong.....I didn't even have novice lightsabers when I crafted my training saber and I got 1 exp point and could experiment with no problems. I assume this guy was bugged or if there are other crafting stations near him, he may need to get as close to the right one. I have only one crafting station, my house is private and it is not my chosen house of residence. I have no problems crafting sabers at all.....only problem I have is the sucky damage they do...lol

Well, I got it to work, at the crafting station at my Guild Hall. Does this just mean my crafting station is bugged? I don't recall ever having a problem with it before. Odd....

This may be a silly question. But is your Jedi on the admin list of the house in question? I have had issues with that untill i put my Jedi on the admin list. Cleared it right up.

The way crafting stations work, the station must be either in a public house/building or you must have access to the house (admin or entry) to use it. If thereis more than 1 crafting station in the room, you must be IN the crafting station for it to work correctly. The theory is that the closest crafting station is the one that's active for you, but the distances are not always calculated right, so you need to be IN the crafting station to be sure.
Hope this helps a bit. Let us know.

Things I made sure to check..
I own the house, I'm on the admin, tried it both public and private.. still no go. Then i noticed a message that was popping up under the craft window.
"You can't see hopper. You may have to move closer to it."
I'm standing so far in it i can't even see myslef, i don't know how much closer they want me to stand
I do not get this message at the Guild Hall and can experiment there still. I've moved the station to various parts of the house and still get the same message. The station is lucky I can't saber the Hell out of it cause thats what I wanted to do. I guess I could try and steal the one out of my Hall and see if that ONE works in my house. Its the only thing left i can think of...
Thanks for the suggestions.

No cap for total skill, but a cap of +25 on any worn clothes, so you dont need to bother getting more than a total of +25 in CAs.

???
If you fix, please fix correctly and explain _why_ you fixed what you fixed.
+25 is the cap from clothes.
In order to get 2 additional experimentation points at MLS level you will need +20 from clothing. So +20 is all you need if you just want to have 12 points. However, +25 still is better than +20 because you will have a better chance for amazing successes, and you need amazing successes to get the best out of your experimentation points, no matter how many points you have to start with.
So the additional 5 from +20 to +25 _do_ matter, hence the statement "you dont need to bother getting more than a total of _+25_ in CAs".

+25 is good only if you are not MLS, then if you have 0004 you have +75 (7 exp points) and +25 would give you +100 (10 exp points) thereby making you equal to an MLS in crafting.
