So if you are hit with a debuff will reapplying your buff work? Or will you get some message saying you can't? Just seems a lil odd that debuffs are going to be giving that much power. The snare I can live with as a Master Enhancer I can't use force run in battle anyway without a dmg reduction. Thyroid is bad enough with force speed 2 on. I dont even want to imagine what it will be like if it cancels force speed + our broken saber speed.

from what i have seen, reapplying the buff wont break it. This is because of the new changes which gives debuffs priority over buffs. Even at FR3, it will remove the FR buff and apply the debuff on top of it which can be reapplied as soon as it has run its course. Methinks we will all just be kited to death.....

Wrong, it can be reapplied before it's run it's couse. Face it, you'll be snared the entire match and FR is useless to escape.

Just to clear a few things up. The debuff taking away a buff is only applicable to movement buffs. Here is a quote from a Dev.

Debuffs will not remove their counterpart buffs; stacking adrenal boost with thyroid rupture will net -15 speed. At the end of the TR, AB will remain. Only movement effects are absolute and even then the buff is not removed, just negated for the duration.

Thank you very much for getting back to us on this so quickly. Can I quote you?

Yes

Pardon me while I shoot the messenger. The duration on E. Drain is indefinate since it can be reapplied OVER and OVER again. There is no cool down resist, ala rage cooldown. All is not well.

Oh, dont get me wrong. I do not like the intended part of this change either. I just wanted to clear up the intended vs any non-intended part of this change.

I appreciate the update. Although I'm very happy it doesn't make it's way into regular buffs (which it sounded like it was), the movement debuff still makes just about no sense when you have Melee professions in the game. Maybe the answer is to just make Melee PvE only (including Jedi)? The change they are trying to push would undoubtly cause this by itself lol.
