Actually, the village was designed after they saw how many people were going for Jedi and the strain it put on the rest of the game. Publish 9 was all about that realization. They saw they could not limit the numbers, so they divided Jedi up so that it was on the whole less powerful. They stated this clearly, Jedi outside the FRS is meant to be on the combat curve with non-Jedi. The FRS had limited access and so that is where the rest of the power lay. However, they might very well be tweaking the strengths due to the continuing escalation of Jedi everywhere.

the thing is what happens when the FRS comes back, will knights get a boost in power and the trials be ultimatly harder thus giving old knights a massive step up if the new knight trials becommes some sort of jedi vilalge trial?
