Thread: Yes or no. Jedi to be starting profession? (Links Added)
hahaha NO! the only way i would ever accept this is if they had an frs where as u ranked up, u gained power extremely over somone under ur ranking. otherwise, there eventually wouldnt be a difference between the nub toon and ur toon, whichu spent so much more time and money getting. Even then,i dont think its right.
would they get an instant extra character slot too then? doesnt really make sense.
if they dont, no one would ever be the other professions, because jedi has such an allure.
if they do, that raises the question, why was it so important that SOE held us to onlyone toon per server on an account, before? as far as the money issue goes, they might lose money on this because i, and im sure every oneof you,know a ton of ppl with multiple accounts, just to get another toon on the server. if kids could start with a few characters, then whoop! there goes that money!
bad idea in my, and a ton of other ppl's minds.

if they made jedi into a starting proff how many of you would quit?

People were pissing all over the mustafar expansion.
I've seen many names on my server that I have not seen in months.
someone asked in this thread what would be the diff between us and the newer jedi if they made such a change.... the answer like with any profession is: "skill" know ur class and the foods u need... pretty simple really.
for those who asked about multi slots and loss of money... answer is: if such a change is made take away the second slot for the starter jedi.... vets keep the second slot as reward for earning it before such a fix.... set a date that says if u haven't started the village by X date u will not be able to get jedi that way and hence not get the second slot.... then once those people finish the village take it out like jabba's.... simple really
working to make the game balanced cuz noone in soe is.....
