Sadly im not suprised. You Know Orlando,Tampa, and Atlanta airports are going to be shutting down next week? They only have enough fuel for 1 more week and then were all screwed. DIFFICULT times coming im afraid.

Please give it a rest and maybe walk to your local Red Cross and donate blood or a little cash or something. Beleive me, if you remember that the people in Lousiana and Mississippi are facing you would have to put it in a better perspective. You complain about gas while they need drinking water!
With todays world of instant news, we saw people that were not prepared. I sat on Disaster planning teams for some Southern California cities on behalf of the Red Cross and it was generally understood that one must be prepared to take care of themelsves for anywhere from 3-6 days after a major disaster as NO services will get to them in ANY way shape fashion or form, now I admit that things have changed and our planning was with Earthquakes as our primary focus. What I saw this morning and yesterday morning was the arrival of major assistance to those affected areas, convoys of land and air based assistance. When you look at how many hours it has been since the disaster started it fit right in the time frame of being able to take care of yourself. Everyone like to play the blame game, and it appears there are lots of mistakes in this disaster. Like this poster said donate money, blood or time at your local charity of choice. Stay in this weekend and get to know your neighbor BBQ/PARTY TIME to help the gas issue
As for the gas issue any of us old farts will remember our parents in line for gas mid 70's, odd/even days and stories from our grandparents about gas stamps. Yes I had always heard England paid 3x what we have paid. We will get through it just ask a cigarette smoker how it feels LOL
