You must have handled quite a few hilts, do you polish them before you measure the length?

I thought what generation it was also made a difference. Like the length of the blade as well as the point. You may notice that some tips are more defined and pointy while other rounded, and I know there is a difforence in length have compaired sabers.

Double bladed hilts both look the same... I saw no point in showing them


I'll post a version with a blue crystal tomorrow, perhaps.

Good work but you are using yellow. Which makes the blade appear thicker (and sometimes shorter) regardless of the hilt.


If you used Dark Blue this guiude would bedifferent.

I'm not sure that the hilt is what makes the blade thinner. I have used a yellow crystal in my saber and the blade was thick. I then switched to another color in the exact same saber and the blade was thin. so I'm inclined to believe that the type of color crystal you use determines the thickness. It's quite possible the hilt can contribute to the thickness as well, but I don't think it's the only determination of how thick the blade will be.
