Your wielding a melee weapon, as the other posts in this forum and the chef forum point out, your defense comes from the type of weapon you are wielding not your opponents.

Ok, here's your problem. Your basing all yourconclusions on this one fight. I'm not flaming you or anything, but to assume that all BH/CM are going to be the same is rather nieve.
If you get a good BH/CM on you, you will run out of force with a saber with that FC, which incidently is aweful.
True enough, you will not take much damage with Master Defender, but you will also not be able to out-damage their insane healing abilities.

I've yet to loose a fight with a MCM, but I've seen many of my Lesser-Saber friends go down from not being able to dish any decent damage. There is one MBH/MCM in our Guild that has taken me down in a duel. The only thing that kept him up, and he agreed, was his uber healing. There's also a capped super-hammer MS/TKM/Doc in our Guild who also had the same experience.
My complaint is about balance. One of 2 things needs to happen:
- Our healing and costs need to be brought up to the CM/Doc levels with less FC, or...
- The CM & Doc healing needs to be toned down to reasonable levels.
And something to think about for those who would say "Why should a Jedi be able to heal as well as a CM/Doc?": We use the Force. It more than reasonable considering it's SWG, and is it really reasonable for CM/Doc'sto be able those large amounts of damage while fighting? How's that realistic?
