Thread: Question: How Many Jedi Are Happy With The NGE???

I dont mind alot of the changes, its the betrayal of all my hard work over the last 18 months that is the kick in the teath. the idea that now anyone can get in the first few minutes of the game that took me3 months just to get glowy and through the village. And the fact that I am no better than some 10 year old that can buy my hard work off a shelf.
I can only imagine how these changes feel like a total betrayal, but I wouldn't be so quick to marginalize yourself or your character all too quickly. Any prof can be grinded out over time. Gaining respect is the real challenge.

I am as well though I'm apprehensive about the massive change. But people who I know pretty well and in whose opinion I have a lot of respect have tried the new system and they all seem to say its better. That they felt like it was Star Wars for the first time in a long time. Some of these people have left the game a while back. They are talking positively about the game again. I don't know if I'll like it or not but I'm willing to jump in starting tomorrow and give it a shot and see how it plays.
Thanks for all your replies so far, and thanks for keeping them constructive too. No mindless flaming is what I like to see. ![]()
How do we feel about the possibility of having specialisations within the 9 major Profs, Jedi included???
It is my understanding that this is how WoW plays, though I've never played it myself.
I think it'd be a great idea, and easily done with a quest based advancement system.
Your thoughts???
Bout ime the CU was scraped ... it was garbage, and should never have happened.
Don't ike we are getting a dumbed down console game, but at least its not FKEY wars.
i am really looking forward to trying it out, though i think maybe my ping/lag may become an issue
as i connect from Australia, but all round happy to see what its like, should recharge the Wars in
Star Wars.
