I understand completley what your saying , but lets clear one thing up. you posted outta the mouth of babes which clearly is ( hot chicks , good looking women , etc) . What i think you meant was outta the mouth of babies. Surely your brother is not a babe. Ok thats it for now.Message Edited by KingoftheGrind on 10-25-2005 05:30 AM

well if the saber can cut you in half a blaster bolt can blow the back of your chest out? oh wait we fire water pistols right ?
if the game was like the movies you would only get 2 sith and 2 jedi on every server and you would be in hiding ,its only a game.
Yeah, I am still trying to figure out how anything, especially armoured stormtroopers and rebels with funny helmets, are living after being hit by a single blaster shot.

You should've probably answered "wouldn't be much of a game if one class which anyone can get trivially just annihilates everything else without a second thought".
If Jedi were rare in this game, they could be the all-powerful race they should be. Since every man and his dog nowadays is a Jedi, or on the road to becoming one, they have to be balanced alongside everything else. How anyone can not understand this is beyond me.
I wouldnt mind being on the road with everyone else (other profession!) *IF*:
- no loss of xp during death
where would the challenge be in Jedi that there is "supposed" to be?
- getting 5000 xp when killing something
look to previous answer.
- boxes NOT starting at novice 20k, tier 1: 200k, tier 2: 400k, tier 3: 800k. tier 4: 1.6m, master: 3.2m
same as above. (could you make this any easier?) Jedi was never meant for eveyone, just those with the balls to handle it.
- not forced PvP
nothing is forced in this game, no one forced you to be Jedi. stop and think before you type. is it that hard a concept? Jedi was meant to be a challenge. You knowingly went into the profession that would be hunted under certain circumstances and yet still call it "forced"
Then Iwouldn't mind to be compare EQUAL to a normal double mastery...
For hypothecial reasoning, turn tables:
- assume a double elite BH/something class looses XP as well when dying from a jedi
- assume you get about 5% of the xp (so 100xp instead of 5000)
- you need HUGE amounts of xp to advance
- anytime you see a jedi, you might get killed.
if I wanted this, I would become a Jedi in this game.
And then consider Jedi to be powerfull as the BH are now compared to jedi...
I think the BH forum would be in an uproar...
Jedi are more powerful then BH. If you don't know how to win then you have problems or you have no clue on how to use your template cause instead of learning, you just power/spammed your way to full template.
Also note, I'm HAPPY with my jedi toon. But this whole situation is not balancing... It's close to exploiting, even if SOE claims it's working as intended. The CU has FAILED!
of course, this was not totally directed at you, just in general to the whiners who continue to volunteer to be Jedi in a system they don't like or agree with. it's getting old... oh wait, it was old a long time ago.

I myself am not happy with the changes that have been made to Jedi, but my dog well he is just furrious look how he has been nerfed;
1) Never been able to equip a Light Saber Devs have refused to address this issue.
2) Can not wear a Robe again compleatly ignored even with the introduction of the new Cloaks
3) Powers for have been nerfed to the point that he cant ForceThrow or ForceFetch the stick anymore.
He is at the point of cancelling his account excopt he enjoys playing with the Bols and Pickets so much ![]()
And for the record, I'm Half-template Jedi. Yet, still NO BH has come for me, so don't explain/tell me how to "play my jedi".

Mr. Lucas, and I use his name with reverance, has so many businesses and is receiving licensing fees like there is no tomorrow.
I am quite sure that his business handlers want to make sure the checks keep clearing. This game will not tarnish the name "Star Wars". At least not in my eyes.
But I wonder, if I were to ever see another game come out from SOE or taken over by SOE, I might hesitate before purchase or recommendation to a friend. I mean MY NAME would be on the line with that one.
NOW THAT should be reason enough to treat us like customers not lemmings!
