Does it hurt to explain your remark?

Old BH TEF Exploit (now fixed): Jedi could fight fight fight, then when they start to lose, run into a private house and be completely protected from attack.

Current Factional Base Exploit: Jedi could fight fight fight, then when they start to lose, run into a GCW base and be completely protected from attack.

Same thing.

Unfortunately, i'm afraid not. You have to take into account FACTION. If I am overt, and a BH comes after me, Overts can attack me as well.

You don't need to be overt to perform this 'sploit.

Why are people so ignorant? If it was an exploit ('sploit in loser terms) it would have been removed when the houses were. Use common sense. If you are overt and you get attacked by a bh, you should be able to take haven with your faction. It only makes logical sense considering you can be attacked by the opposing faction as well.

That's so lame. A faction base is a public structure so the rules of hiding in houses does not apply. The catch is you have to be at the correct faction status to enter a base, if the BH isn't of that status and the Jedi is, then tough luck for the BH. A CSR doing that is criminal, and they should restore the Jedi's XP x2.

well we haven't seen an official post from a dev or a screeny from a csr stating it is an exploit...if your a combatant your allowed to enter the base..if your not..then you can't..nothing wrong with going into a base that allows you to go into...if the person wanted to pursue him then he shoulda changed status..but until a dev or csr says its an exploit..then i say its fine..but makes me wonder if a csr pulled the person out..then maybe they consider it an exploit....but i've heard other stories where a bh will drop a combatant base on top of the jedi and a bunch of npc's will spawn and the bh gets the db.....

Although I'd agree with you if it wasn't SWG's CSR's, it is. Half the CSR's can't agree with each other on anything like this.

Ok, round 2 - you do not have to be overt to be able to run into your friendly faction bases. You just have to be combatant.

Round 3, everyone knows this. I am making a simple statement. Also, a BH can drop a Faction base on top of a combatant jedi.

If you are trying to infer that a combatant jedi with a BH tef shouldn't be able to run into a base while an SF should, that's another story. Although, it's just as silly

I am tired of bh's complaining because their marks are able to run and hide if they so choose so. Make a template that will keep the jedi from running and adapt. Besides they made their template so they could run so counter it. Get a root or 2, not every jedi is a mls master def and can be kited to hell.

Hardly the same.

1st, NO DEVELOPER has named this an exploit. The only ones crying exploit is inept BHs.

2nd, The EXPLOIT was that the Jedi could drop the house over-and-over where ever he was grinding. That is hardly the case now. Current restrictions in the GCW makes dropping bases in a whim impossible.

Bottom line is, get better at your craft and your tactics. You have the first strike. Nothing says you must use it immediately upon seeing your mark. Look at your surroundings and plan your attack.

Heck, YOU ARE signing on to play the GCW every time you select a mission based on faction. You already can enter the faction base, you just have to contend with the NPCs.

Seems to me anything that helps a Jedi get away without using any *real* skill is legit, but to BH's anything a Jedi can do to get away without using any *real* skill is an exploit. I have to agree with the other BH's. Use some REAL skill if you want to get away, stop taking advantage of the system, or if you don't, you could at least acknowledge that it's borked.

If this happened to me I would be on the phone with customer service screaming my lungs out. If nothing was done I would be canceling my account. You cannot discriminate against a certain class of player like that. What would the BH have throught if the CSR had teleported him into the faction base and changed his status to combatant.

Come on,she ran away into a factional base knowing the BH is of opposite faction. You know that its not intended and that the TEF should carry over into any structure not just a house.

By running away it means getting away and making it into a private structure, or offline.

Get over it, what's going to happen is that same faction BHs are going to attack same faction jedi while combatant, thats it. Stop pulling this crap, then defending it because it's not correct.

What the CSR did wasn't right/wrong, but the player knew this wasn't completely legal. For a BH to have enough time to contact a CSR she must've been in that base a long time, to the point where should should've just logged off.

Point being, 300k xp is nothing, about an hour to 2 hour grinding depending on how slow your group is. Get over it, and move on. Stop defending what doesn't deserve to be.

Bullcrud. If the BH wants to follow a jedi into a factional base they should be combatant or SF. The reason they choose not to be is specifically avoid being shot by turrets/faction npcs and overt players. The road works both way bub.

It's a BH TEF, it should apply to Faction Bases as well.

BH vs. Jedi is meant to be 1 vs. 1. What is a base doing in between that? A base does nothing other than offer no entry. Its as if a BH were to attack an overt jedi. The overt jedi can't recieve any help from other overts of npcs against a BH.

Either way, this will get addressed, the only thing that will happen is that the jedi will get attacked by the same faction rather than the opposite. Is that a better tactic? Is that what you wantonce again?
