Thread: To Our Jedi Correspondent and my beloved Jedi

I hate to say this: "You are an idiot". Your core has nothing to do with the "honesty or integrity" of SOE. He is a volunteer who disseminates information as it is given to him/her through core. Your issues are with SOE and not the core, who might I add is a volunteer veteran of your profession. They are not giving him information, so he has none to give back to you. You are lashing out, which is understandable given the nerfs SOE has passed down. Lash out as you wish, your corr is advocating your position because it effects him as well as you. I can say something he cannot though, which is "go to hell." I wish he could say that, but I have a feeling he respects you more than I. BTW, at the moment you deserve none of the former, because you are blaming the wrong entity.

I could sit there and name call also but I am a bit more mature". I will say this yet again for a third time... I AM NOT BLAMING HIM BECAUS OF SOMETHING SOE IS DOING. This person is our representative and our voice plain and simple. Never in any of my posts did I blame him for our nerfs or anything of the sort. You sir are making your own version of my post and on top of that you try to turn this into some kind of third graderargument by flaming.This disccussion was meant to be just that a discussion andeveryone is entitled to their opinion and that is what I voiced in this postin a respectfulmanner. However you seem to lack the compacity to do that yourself. I invite anyone including our correspondent to come in here a voice their opinions and facts about what is going on on these boards because not everyone plays 24/7 and not everyoneis on these boards to check every single post made wether they are valid or not. You Sir respect our corrs? I sir respect Everyone and that is our difference.

The old correspondent provided a spoiler for most of the content with the expansion. I fail to see how that is a good thing.Your idea of what a correspondent should be doing is signifigantly different that alot of others here (including myself).
You do realize he put in the thread title "(SPOILERS)", don't you? He at least warned people that spoilers were inside the thread, it is your decision to either read it and spoil the surprises, or pass on it and figure it out for yourself.
However, let's stay on topic please. The point isn't about SonGouki making a guide for the ToW quests which contained spoilers, the point is we're not getting the constant flow of answers like we did when SonGouki was our correspondent. I'm not going to point and fingers or say Baciacca isn't trying, because there being no answers is everything but his fault. He has to have answers from the devs before he can pass them on; he can't just make up some random rumor and say this is how it's going to be.

This is the point here actually. Biacca is not the only corr that has been somewhat quiet lately. CM/Doc nerfs, TKM fixes, needed SL nerfs after revamp, Smuggler revamp, Commando revamp, the future of healing/action, Jedi pearls and FRS, GCW, even simple fencer combat damage reporting bugs, ect ect.
These are all unanswered bugs/nerfs/issues tha are not being addressed by SOE. What do you want your corr to say? How would you like him to respond to things that have been around since CU and not been addressed? This is a worthless thread. Completely worthless. The author owes Biacca an apology, should bow to his service to the profession, and perhaps consider a future in ambulance chasing.

I used to stop by and answer questions, but this forum is out of control and has almost completely lost it's usefulness.
Even when SonG, and before him Arjun were Corrs it was out of control. But those two tried their best to keep up with it. Anyone following them would be hard pressed to fill the shoes.
This forum used to be a community, now it is not. Too many people post here now, there is no way to keep things civil or to keep up with the masses simply because there are too many not willing to cooperate.
Look at Garva's attempt to suggest some kind of control over these boards and how people responded.

Ok, That is true those other corrs have not been around, but in reality is that our problem as jedi? No, so there not part of this discussion. In addition your childish comments are proving my earlier statment about not being able to make a mature post... it's actually pretty laughable. At any rate IfA profession correspondentcan't give us any answers,give any feedback to dev's, then why don't you explain to me and everyone else thatwants to knowwhat exactly a profession correspondent does. This time try to keep it above the 13 year old vocabulary because your taunts are a waste of web space. Last time i checked I didn't have to apologize for asking a question or voicing my opinion.
Now Pulse I am sure he is ticked at the nerfs also considering if he still plays, but if you where in his shoes you wouldn't do as much as make a post about the issues,guides,or even news? I am pretty sure 99.9% of us would.
Now made a comment that was hitting on the point of my discussion however it skewed off into a finger pointing contest that was never meant to happen.

Well said. He can't make up something like the other rumors floating around such as the jedi starting profession scare or the deletion of melee professions, but Let's be real All you that seem to think this post is a waste of time My question to you is simple
If you where a correspondent to a profession and you have a publish,and a new expansion that have just been released with tons of new information and content you would not make anytype ofpost on any of it? Reguardless of your answer explain why or why not?

I hate to admit it but your absolutely right. Garva was pretty much attacked for voicing his opinions and good ideas. However no matter what you do or say there will always be someone there to hate you. Nothing to do but move on Soe does it with every publish right?
