Tune your pearls. The tune on them is already set. The pearls that tune "badly" are tuning the way they were designed for their quality. If they tune bad now...they will tune bad later.

I have a bad feeling about this.Could mean any number of things.

More to the point how would everyone feel if they had to start acquiring pearls or similar enhancements again?Given SOE's track record I see them making everyone the same and the search for really good "pearls" will hinge on whether or not you buy the expansion.

Personally if I had spent the time to get a good set of pearls only to have them made the same as everone elses it would probably put me over the edge.I'm not sure that SOE is capable or realizing that people get upset when the time (our most precious commodity) they spend doing something and gaining a reward IG is stripped away.

Remember the conversion of weapons from pre CU?How did yours hold up?How did you armor convert?Food?You got to keep it but the weapon you spent 10 million credits on wasn't quite as unique anymore was it?

And in case anyone feels all warm and fuzzy that things are ok since the defined interim and not their intentions for the future.....

I lack the patiene to read the whole thread. So, does this clarification indeed say that once the drops are "fixed," the old pearls will be adjusted in a manner similar to how pre-cu weapons became utter crap, despite promises that top-of-the-line would remain top-of-the-line?

We still don't know any more than when the statement was first made... any kinds of things could happen to the pearls *AFTER* the interim.

I now have 4 Perfect pearls, 120 -9, if I have to retune these at a later date when premiums come back, my time with SWG will be over. I have dealt with enough BS. The only reason I still play this game is because of all the work I put into my jedi, Pre Pub 9.

Question...How many perfect pearls did you originally have to tune in order to get those 4 perfect tunes?

did anyone catch the response when the bh asked if jedi can be tracked on the expansion...the response said "bh can track to mustafar".....suspicious? as of now, jedi can be tracked to kash, but cannot be tracked on kash.....would like to have a clarifacation of that one.

the part that bothers me is that the response is way to vague and is dependant that the devs feel they should go back in.... according to other posts from the devs the drops are going to be close to 1 in one thousand to get a premium pearl. Jedi, get ready for your content, it will be farming krayts again but will have to farm them much longer this time to get one. all the while the guys who have them wont have any issues. This is still not acceptable because your next year of swg will be on tat killing krayts endlessly in groups and then fighting over who gets the pearls. this is going to create a bigger mess than not having them at all.

At least they are going to bring them back.

anyone that isnt worried by soe lack of timely pearl fix and the recent announcement,given there history of stupidity in terms of revamps is a complete idiot.
