Thread: Question for the PvP Gods :)

Why does everyone keep telling this dude that his force cost sucks?? My FC is 30 (that's right I became padawan shortly after the CU, and I've killed about 70 Krayts in the last week and all I have to show for it are F*&%ing slice components) and I don't typically have problems with my force running out while fighting a BH. Just remember to Channel every once in a while and you'll be ok.
Best advice is to keep em rooted and snared, lay your power attack on them when you have them rooted or knocked down (sad but true, every once in a while they will get the "Knockdown Bug" and you'll get the easy win), keep the armor break on and you should be ok. I really don't understand how you could NOT win withyour saber'sdamage.

QFE!!!!!
Seriously everyone posting in here should know that the Force cost formula was severly re-worked so that the Force multiplier was reduced(when the CU was dropped) and the base FC per attack was increased substantuially. The differance between a 9FC and 14 FC are not noticiable. I have a 717max Dmg Saber, 1.21 speed and14FC 4th gen Double bladed saber! I chose this configuration instead of my 690 dmg 1.25 dmg 9fc 1h saber. The extramin & max damage are invaluable! I have yet to fall to a BH in a 1v1, 2v1. Anyway, there are some greattips in this post.
I also have a MCM/MBH 0400 carb BH and the jedi that constantly root me and snareme and have FR1 give me the most trouble. Also, keep the AB on them constantly.
Suppress, saber throw, and armor break are your friends in this situation. You must ALWAYS have the offensive end of the fight else the bh will start overwhelming you. Also, make sure you are using Pikatta Pie and Spices. Those areprobably the best pvp foods out there at the moment. Other than that grab some mando, won-won and vayerbok and you are nearly invicible. Also synth steak ishandy to have onyou if the situation turns bad in your favor. Pop the synth steak, force run and regen. The best defense is a good offense and without a good offense you might as well just lay down and die.
I have had no problems with any type of BH i have ever faced (Post-CU). In my opinion BHs need a boost because i have no challenge left in this game other than pvp.
when the DoTs start ticking, suppress them and run out of range....by the time his root breaks, the dots will be close to done

something that really helped me a lot is to place my targets window right above my chat box and strech it out enough so i can make sure to see when my AB stick as well as my root and bleed.

maybe you need to pick up mdef and drop to 3000 heal & 0002 ehn.
(MCM are the best for killing Mdef)
Kick on VALOR (it blocks most of incoming shots)...you popping any "pika pie" (dodge food)?
(why does he need Valor and Pika pie? its the DOTS (fire and pision) that is taking chunks out of his health! )
and don't use force to heal right off. use a stim...ruby...stim...instead of cannape (unless it is low fill) try brandy...leave your stomach open for the ruby. and if you bh is kiting...saber throw is your only offense. Do you have a psg?
my good friend which i had to watch Die today is MLS/Mdef/3000heal/0002Enh and all she could do was Saber throw snice she was snared the whole fight and could not get within melee range.
Saber throwalone will NOT cut it you need to root them and you yourself need Force Run to be able to keep up with them after they stick their 2min snare on you (force run1 counters their 2min snare)
