Aura makes your dodge effect enhanced combined with damage mitigation, I believe. Also use head, leg and body hit while watching the combat logs. What ever attack does the most damage means = that piece of armour has less resistance. I ve found this tactic priceless.

OK, heart racing but you maintain cool, and hit the 2 buttons. Food / Drink macro, and Force Enhancement macro and you are ready for bear!

With your defences up you then figure you can start looking for your opponent, but you see out of the corner of your eye the DOTS stacking up... fire, poison, disease, ect ... and you know the Combat Medic has come a calling.

So you target your opponent, get a heal in, hit the follow button.

Now, from this point I am in constant heal mode, maybe getting an insignificant hit in which the target shrugs off I am assuming. If I am lucky (about 1 out of 3 times) I am able to get to the next phase of the fight, but most of the time the DOTS and KD's hit at just the right time and I get incapped before my heals go off.

Next phase:

This happens sometimes, eventually I pop my health crystal, and Channel like crazy while running up every hill I can find recharging. However, the time comes where I have to hit the holocron.

These fight NEVER go well. I can ussualy drop most other BH's but I cant seem to bother the CM template.

Tell me please what I can do to over come this. I know there are those out there that can and do put the CM / BH's in there place, but there is a BH on Sunrunner that justI just cant seem to overcome. Eldahara is the name, for those on Sunrunner.

Make sure u have FR on all the time.. Root/snare them as much as possible. You shouldnt have to heal much with all that defender.. make sure u have infussion on at all times, to combat their dots.. Also you might wanna consider dropping, the ranged defence and Get defender 4/0/4/4, Aura + Valor works really great against ranged...

1 thing about infusion, every time it activates it takes 10% of your mind. In a prolonged fight you might run out completly.

True, But If you think about it.. with all that defender, all the damage he might be taken are from Dots, and iffussion does a great job in healing you over time.

True, he would need to concentrate on laying on the damage as fast as possible. In a prolonged fight, infusion could become his greatest enemy.

If BH's are your main concern you may want to drop one of the first two lines and pick up the last line of defender with valor. Aura+Valor+MLS Block should do you pretty well. Also keep them snared or rooted and armor broken. Someone also suggested sap which can be very effective for running BH's out of action and mind quickly.

Suppress, saber throw, and armor break are your friends in this situation. You must ALWAYS have the offensive end of the fight else the bh will start overwhelming you. Also, make sure you are using Pikatta Pie and Spices. Those areprobably the best pvp foods out there at the moment. Other than that grab some mando, won-won and vayerbok and you are nearly invicible. Also synth steak ishandy to have onyou if the situation turns bad in your favor. Pop the synth steak, force run and regen. The best defense is a good offense and without a good offense you might as well just lay down and die.

I have had no problems with any type of BH i have ever faced (Post-CU). In my opinion BHs need a boost because i have no challenge left in this game other than pvp.

whoa there big boy! Ill say I've won a few but lets not get crazy and start building up the bh's. lol

My personal advice for what it is worth.

1. Realize that with a CM you will be in for a long fight. As such do not use short duration foods if you can help it at all. For example, go with spiced tea as it has a very long duration and good bonus. Stay way from Mando wine as it has a high fill and short duration.

2. Once you see the first CM dot then look for some water. A free fire heal can be rather handy. Also think about some dot resist/absorption food/drinks (see Chef sticks for suggestions).

3. Keep some p. neutra cake at the ready. Try to get some flow fill exp stuff. The advantage here is that you can still hit for full damage while staying right on top of your target. Very helpful when trying ot keep the pressure on the BH.

4. Look closely at what buffs the CM has. If he is using systeak, great, drop down to basic attack and wait it out.

5. I personal avoid using looping macros when fighting as they tend to fire or miss fire at the worst times. Instead, set up a macro that does the action and then pauses xx sec and then gives you a warning that the action needs to be reapplied. This way you can reapply the action at your convience. This goes for aura, infusion, roots, etc.

6. Try to us ST when the bh is down to 1/2 health so that you can kd at that point. Dont waist the kd when they are at full health. This will force them to use stims. With ruby the way it is this may take a few times but sooner or later you will hit the kd right when they can not use a stim.

7. You have a nice damage LS but very poor FC. So use your basic attack often. This also helps your speed as itis on a different timer.

8. If you really want to be more effective against a CM drop a line in defender and pick up xx4x healer. Sap is very effective and has little cost.

9. To dot you they must be in close range so use this to your advantage. It also sucks up a lot of mind.

10. Exo Protien wafers are very handy when you get KD's. They only last 20ish sec but they only take 5 filling. Having them tied to a stim in a macro can be helpful when trying to survive while on your back.

11. I find it best not to attack fast and hard in the first few minutes as they will be all fooded/buffed up ready for you. Survive the first few minutes with as little a cost in Force, mind, and tummy filling as you can. When they attempt to re-dot you then go for the kill. By this time you have eaten resist foods and many of the dots will not land, they will have to be close to you to do the dots, the dots root them for 4 sec (if I recall correctly), thier short term buffs will be gone, etc. If at this point you can start a strong offensive attack you will have them.

Again, with a CM do not look for the quick victory. They have too much healing and will be prepared for you.

12. As a Jedi you can heal at any time. So use stims every chance you can. When playing a non-Jedi I save my stims for when I am KD'ed. However, as a Jedi I stim first, FH second.

13. Look for LoS obsticals. Turn a corner and wait for them if they are kiting you. Go into NPC buildings. These are very helpful to let a dot pass and to channel.

Why does everyone keep telling this dude that his force cost sucks?? My FC is 30 (that's right I became padawan shortly after the CU, and I've killed about 70 Krayts in the last week and all I have to show for it are F*&%ing slice components) and I don't typically have problems with my force running out while fighting a BH. Just remember to Channel every once in a while and you'll be ok.

Best advice is to keep em rooted and snared, lay your power attack on them when you have them rooted or knocked down (sad but true, every once in a while they will get the "Knockdown Bug" and you'll get the easy win), keep the armor break on and you should be ok. I really don't understand how you could NOT win withyour saber'sdamage.

Just to help you with your template.

Currently ranged defense will not be used due to the fact that your armor is based on what kind of weapon you are holding. As you have a lightsaber your melee defense will work (doesn't matter what you are being hit by ranged or melee). Therefore you should go

Def 4044.

You will get Improved Valor (will help you block a lot of shots).

Since the ranged defense from the 0400 line wont help you. It might be changed though so its up to youreally, but as of now the chefs have figured out your defense is based on the weapon you wield.

His damage is 611-711 which means he has some nice pearls. It is rather odd that nice pearls would tune with such crappy FC.

There is a large difference between 48 and 30. 18/4 = 4.5 on average worse pearls than what are in your LS.

It also means that for any LS action which uses force it will cost him over 50% more than it would cost your 30FC LS.

With MLS and FS goind this can add up quickly.

Personally, I suspect a type-o on the FC. As I said, it is hard to imagine pearls with 110+ damage and only -1 FC.
