Thread: would you start out with nothing and be a noob just to play in the old system? I would
would i go back to the old system? not on your life. the main reason i stopped playing for several months was because i hated 'requiring' a doc buff me before i could go out and play the damn game. if i logged in to either grind jedi or run some random quests, if i couldn't find a doc, i couldn't play.there was hardly anyone ever online and if there wasn't a doc buffing in coronet or the MO on dant, you were out of luck if you wanted to actually do something other than sit around and talk to people. then, once you found a doc and got your buff, you felt like you had to play for at least 2-3 hours, otherwise you were wasting the buffs you just bought.
no, i like the fact that no matter what i want to do, whether it is on kashyyyk, in space, or on one of the regular planets, i no longer have any trouble at all in finding a group of people to play with and my play time is not dictated by the almightly and essential buff system that was beyond borked. there may be a few things i dislike about the new system, but given the choice between pre-cu and post-cu, i would choose post-cu or nothing every single time.
