Keep in mind that with the 24 SPs back some people would be able to haev masteries and yet hold them selfs up on the MUST HAVE skills in Jedi too...

Why don't you just ask to be moved back to pre-pub 9 when Jedi had everyforce powerin the game. That's basically what u are asking for.

Well, if you can show me another proffesion that had to loose valuable skill points in a sub proffesion that really doesnt have much to do with the main one then i would agree....untill then...soe...let my skill points go....i want them back.
How about any melee profession that isn't mastering the 2nd novice requirement. How about smuggler that doesn't use TKA at all - that's 29 wasted points there. Same for commando.
Why should Jedi be the only profession with no skill point pre-requisites?
And /disagree!

What you're hoping is that FS would cost no skill points and everything would else stay the same, thus enabling you to have an uber template that's not possible in the current system. What you don't understand is that Jedi skillpoints, skills and mods are carefully calculated with the 24 FSskillpoints in mind. Removing the SP cost from the 24 FS skills will not allow you to have your super template, but will force the devs to restructure the Jedi skillpoints and mods as to be balanced.

HaHa, you says Jedi dont need Basic Skills? lol I would make a post later, and btw! some Novice Box's is NEEDED also when get Master... remember its only Jedi, that is the SPECIAL Prof, even if you was right all other Proffersions have a useless Novice Box's or Pre once that is totally useless ''And you DONT'' then also you must see that Jedi Skills use more SP's too it uses around the same with Novice Proffersions Skills like Brawler two-Handed Branch... Muhaha I am right!

That's a beast of a post. I'm saying that Jedi need basic skills... I don't really understand your reply...

So...Jedi can master what, 2.5 professions? And non-Jedi can master what, 2.5 professions? I fail to see how Jedi skills cost that much more. The internal cost structure is different, but you get the same as non-Jedi.

I’m sorry, but this is not going to change. We’ve discussed this a lot and basically what you are asking is to have the ability to “drop the novice profession” to have more skill points to spend on elite profession skills. No profession has this ability. It would be like being able to surrender Novice Marksman Skills in order to have more points to spend on Pistoleer, Commando or any of the other elite professions that are built on top of the novice profession."

What would be the point in the defender profession then. You would have to make that even better.

I would rather see all the FS trees actually be relevant. The defense and speed ones are about as effective as lower level boxes in a novice profession, though. So why not just consider the FS trees to be the novice boxes to the Jedi's elite boxes.
/disagree
But I support making all the existing boxes actually have a functional purpose.
