Why should we receive the same reward that Joe Jedi gets who just unlocked last week?

Out of all fairness to everyone, Jedi or not, the only reward any veteran should get is the stupid title. You have to draw the line in the sand somewhere, and well, just like this game change, SOE screwed up this reward line too. I know I'll get flamed for mentioning this, but I could care less.

man, please...dont take the rewards from us. If u dont want them, dont use em, but its all i got right now to keep me excited about my old and tired jedi...i was waiting on the FRS, this is all i got in return.

dont come with that self righteous speech please, let the vets have a little recognition for alll their work and patience.

Maybe because we grinded way longer and worked much harder for it? We should at least get something in return for all the work put into finishing jedi. Jeez why are poeple so freakin stupid?

No one grinded or worked harder than me .

I did all 32 professions to unlock. Then being a big guild leader, I had to help dozens of people through every aspect of the village, and I even got my alt 75% throught it (just for some FS skills and the rewards)

After doing all that, and grinding millions upon millions ofxp under 4 different systems , I think I can say with all certainty, that I have done it all. And why dont I want anthing more than some n00b ?

Because thats what turned this game upside down in the first place... When ONE person has an advantage, it causes an entire server to be unballanced. (remembering old 3k dmg T21's). When one CLASS (Jedi) has an advantage, it ruins the game....

There was no GCW because of Jedi, and there was no one wanting to be anyhting but jedi because of the lure of power, and privilege that the class brought about.

If these crystals or robes do anything but look cooler, you will hear NEW waves of cries that will deafen the DEVS ears until they "rebalance" us again.

Hopefully we are "balanced" for good this time, and we can just have fun...

You are a nasty piece of bantha dung . You address your post like you dont feel like anyone deserves a vet bonus, and then go on to say how you feel you should get more than a post patch 9 jedi . Let me tell you something , I unlocked jedi pre patch 9 and another jedi post patch 9 , so I know what both were like. And they were two wotally different grinds. And furthermore you got to where comp armor plus leveling lightsaber was as easy as acquiring novice pistoleer, so dont go on ranting how you deserve more than a post 9 jedi . We all worked are balls off to be where we are , in one patch or another it doesnt matter.

And yes I feel all jedi deserve something since they are making jedi accesible and easy to obtain for all new coming players. And yes I feel the reward should be even not i kille dmore rancors than you, or I spinned more pickets than bob, mastered more professions than the wookiee. **edit** and stop acting like you are so high class because you were a pre patch 9 jedi . woopdee dooo so wasmyself . ! !

It shouldnt be that hard to figure out for the devs.

Not every Jedi should be treated equally.

With regards to CL and respec: if you arent a lvl 80 Jedi, you cant respec into lvl 80 Jedi in new system. Having lvl 80 from rifleman/doctor with 1 Jedi box isnt a lvl 80 Jedi. If you want to respec into Jedi, you get what you have. lvl 12 of actual Jedi skills? Well, you are now a lvl 12 Jedi. You have not earned full template, why should it just be handed yo you?

Has nothing to do with "oh i ground as much as you, or I did the holo grind too, or I went to the village". You arent full template Jedi, you dont get one, tough luck.

With regards to rewards: this is just my honest opinion...there has to be some kind of a line drawn. Some Jedi who just unlocked 1 week prior because he heard that you only need 1 box to be a veteran Jedi, should get jack sqwat. 1 box of Jedi is veteran nothing. I dunno, maybe make it so you have to have at least lvl 80 in Jedi skills? This can be done "I think" by dabbling, or just MLS, or whatever. Dont need full template to be lvl 80. At least then, you have earned something. You grinded, no matter what system it was in, you did it. Veteran enough.

Spinning on the Ryatt trails afk? Dont matter, you still ground it out.

I just dont want to see 5000 Jedi on Chilastra with veteran status who just unlocked last week or have yet to come close to finished templates. Just my opinion.

Flame away!!

The extra character slot is a boon that everyone will have by the new year, that's pretty much guaranteed.

These little tiny rewards that we're being given is basically to passify us for the fact that we (ALL OF US) Jedi have worked our butts off to get where we are, that we were promised a new FRS that was announced to be dead in the water. (Of course with all the ravings of the spastastic generation, it hasn't sunk in yet that none of us may ever reach the title of Knight, and if we do, we'll still be equal to that of other professions.) That we were promised 1.5x and now that is clearly dead too. (clearly, meaning, they've finally admitted it was dead, we've known it was dead for months.)

I listen not to the little kids who think they deserve the world handed to them on a platter without working for said platter. And I blame the parents who should be bitchslapped for thinking Sony Playstations, Computers, and full access to their credit cards is equal to good parenting.

I think its too early to pass judgement on the matter. All they've told us is that we'll get improved sabers and robes. We don't yet know how "improved" it'll be, or how much it will matter. It may turn out to be such a slight advantage that its practically non-significant.

From the accounts I've read so far from the folks who have gotten to play it, it sounds to me like combat will depend greatly on twitch skills, and the advantage of a slightly more powerful weapon or slightly better strength/agility may be negligable.

What fern said, I doubt they would make it that different.... I mean if FERN came back due to this maybe more will

Welcome back Mr Fern.
