ok I have master Powers LS 0400 Healer 4000 Defender 0040 Enhancer 4004
I can solo giant kryats with that temp Ican beat MLS jedi in 1-1 duels I can survive up 2-3 BH attacking me ifyoru friend is dieing to Juvinile kryats its notthe fault of the template its his fault for not learning how to use it properly. After dueling many vet Jedi rescently all they have tosay at theend of a duel win or lose & I win about half of them even with a lesser LS thanmost they say "dam I underestemated what Powers can do" That seems tobe the underlying sentiment from most people.
a Template with Powers in it is really a bag of tricks... It takes Tactics & timing to defeat the 700+ max damage LS people & Patience to defeeat theMaster Defender people. Unlike the MLS MDEF people you cannot just CHARGE!!! into battle & hope to survive you need tobe able to have a plan of attack & be smart enough to adapt quickly tothe changing cercumstances of any fight PVE or PVP.

As a lead in to the main point of my post, Master Defenders are always on the Defensive.
But to the point, batman! In this game combat is about two things - how much damage you can deal out and how much damage you can take (this covers healing too). Your template excels at neither but is positively vulnerable to the latter and so you will have to take a supporting role because templates built around face-to-face fighting will tear this template up. Aura will help you reduce the number on incoming hits, but when one gets through you are going to be hurting. Your saber speed will be bad, your force use with Powers massive and Powers as an offensive template has so many pitfalls I sometimes think the Dev's are joking with us.

IMO if you have a good saber...and know what the hell your doing with mpowers...you can take out any mdef

with his saber, not going MLS, is a waste of his 'power' if you ask me.
i could see someone with postCU pearls going this route, but to me, his best chance of putting that saber to good use is with MLS.
theres not to many mPowers/Mls/4040healers out there. if its all abotu being unique, do something like that. otherwise, i think hes wasteing his saber.
